Hi all,

Just popped in to say hi!

Im new to web design from scratch...Ive used online editors before but am having a go with Dreamweaver CS3 although have run in to problems already

see http://www.webdesignerforum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=10047 for details.

Am hoping to learn how to put a personal site together, nothing flashy...just text and pictures with a menu that is fixed in one place on the screen....

Hopefully will learn quite quickly and will try to help others as I learn!

Welcome to WDF Jotto! I'd advise reading websites such as Web Monkey and HTML Dog (or getting a book from your library) with the goal of learning HTML code as opposed to learning the inns and outs of a WYSIWYG editor. The reason being that "wizzywigs" change constantly whereas HTML (or the fundamentals of HTML at least) won't change that much.
