Google ranking UK /com
Stephen Thanks for your comment. Don't think this was the issue as, server location is in UK and I was selecting google UK to search. Since last post and after about a year the site has suddenly appeared at position 12 page two. Have been making regular minor changes to index page and increased inbound links to just over 100, otherwise no changes. Will be interesting to see if it rises as link numbers grow. Anybody got comments about what else I should be doing.

Have been browsing through all the sites that say they can help with one way backlink building. Has anyone got feedback about any good options, or which to avoid.

Availability calendar for Apartment rental website
Hi markthedoc I have some holiday cottages of my own and my view is its better to use an availability request form so you get all the enquiries and email addresses, rather than potential clients checking out of date availability calendar and not enquiring. It may cause a few more replies but it gives a much better database !

TUTORIAL: how to center a site using css
Hi All I'm new hear so haven't had much time to look around so forgive me if this is elsewhere but I use the following to centre with some success. <style type="text/css"> <!-- #page { position:absolute; left:50%; top:20px; width:400px; height:100px; margin-left: -200px; } --> </style> <div id="page"></div> You can of course use any width height and margin combination.
