The public_html folder should be the correct place to have the files located so if that isn't working you should contact your hosting provider. (Just checked the link in your first post and it shows a Splash page to me)

Try putting the files into the public_html folder!

Its a background image so that wouldn't work.

Well I'm attaching the png file now In the png version the lines are gone. However its over 300kbs so I won't use it on the page as the loading time would be significant. EDIT: This is seriously strange. I opened up the .png file in photoshop and used the Save for web feature and saved it to .jpg only to find the lines back on the image. However if i just used Save As and made it .jpg (same quality level) the lines are gone.

Its the same for me. In photoshop and any other program i view the image there are no lines. http://www.swtorcommunity.com I'll try that however the size is over 200kb where as the jpg is only 60-70kb!

Hi guys! I'm in the starting process of coding a new website and I've already run into a problem. I have a background image which I've been working a bit on in Photoshop and now I've saved it and on my computer it looks fine. But as soon as I upload it it gets some strange lines through it. Especially noticable in the bottom of the picture. You can see it here: I've tried to save it with different variations of quality without any success. Hoping I can get some help. EDIT: Seems this problem only persists in Firefox 4 B1 so i guess that is the problem

Hi guys. I've come across an unsual problem. Atleast for me this is. I'm designing this website http://www.swtorcommunity.com (Website has been opened up temp. so you can help me) and i have a login script on the website which connects with vbulletin and apparently when entering the website with IE the bottom of the page is gone and i can't log in. But adding /index.php to the mix solves the problem. The strange thing is that this does not appear in firefox at all. I've must have done something somewhere to make this happen, but i hope you guys maybe know how to undo it or fix it somehow. Maybe with .htaccess? Thanks

Hi guys. I'm designing a gaming community website and i have this gorgeous background which fills out a 1680 resolution screen (only in the wide its not so long) and i am ofcourse aware of the fact that such an image can be quiet big. I've managed to get it down to around 75kb .jpg in size with Photoshops save for web - and i was wondering if this is to big a size? My audience will ofcourse be mostly gamers (The PC kind), so i'm quiet sure that most of them will not be coming around with a 56k modem. What do you think?
