Thanks jay pick. I know I can create a template, but I still want to be able to edit the page content. Setting up a template I think would mean I would have to edit the template to change the page content not just edit the page, and that's my problem. Jim

I'm trying to create a page where the content contains a full page width image then below more content on left and widgets on right. Seems to me be be a huge headache, am I aiming at the impossible?

Have you tried google / yahoo / bing for the domain name and see what cache they have? Maybe worth a try.

You have some good ideas here but I would start by sorting out cannonical issues where your site can be reached with or without www. Every page on your site, except the blog, has the same title and meta description. The title should be unique for each page. Make them unique and relevant to the page and you should see a difference to your ranking quickly. Hope that helps
