Hi and welcome! You're right uploading videos directly can use a lot of bandwidth and slow down the site. Using YouTube is better for performance, but it may load cookies, which could require a cookie banner. To avoid that: Use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode Or show a preview image and only load the video when clicked Both are simple and help reduce tracking. Hope that helps!
