Having been in IT management, I've decided that this realm is not for me, and have made a conscious decision to divert my career into Web development\design.
I am familiar with html and css (older versions), but am clearly very out of touch. Without taxing people to much, and asking a familiar questions, what would be the advice for somebody like me? I'm tech savvy having been in IT for many years, but am a little lost regards the types of roles that I see now, there appears to be a lot of crossover between design and development?
I'm using my own website as my learning tool, html and css, and really want to get to grips with those languages before considering JS, but wondered if there were any clear career paths I could pencil in, just as a guide..
