Hi All, I'm very happy to have found this forum. I had a change of career and had always wanted to learn to code. My first website is about to be launched soon and I realise that designing the site is only a small part of the process. I found buying the domain, finding a webhost, organising domain emails and arranging the SSL cert bewildering. I have only just uploaded my files onto the server (who knew about FTP apps? I didn't!). My learning curve has been very steep but I'm getting there. Luckily my first client is very understanding and, as she is starting her first business, we're both finding our way. Having come from a large corporation with lots of peer and tech support, I've found working on my own in a new field quite daunting and at times a bit lonely. I'm so glad to have found this forum. Although a beginner myself, I'd love to help others when I'm confident that my advice is good! Thanks. Wheezie
