  1. Blogging as in producing content for our own site - is that not still of value if we are adding content to answer the search query?
  2. Hiya, Thank you so much for replying. We have worked with the agencies on more on an ad-hoc basis as we have an in house marketing team to produce the content etc, but have worked with agencies on keyword strategies to build our plan / keyword targets / grouping etc which informs the content we produce. We have had reviewed the site structure, meta descriptions, alt tags (all the traditional audit elements), on site page content, off site seo, blogging, and much more. I know that the results are long term however I just would not expect to see a decrease in rankings so quickly.
  3. Hi Jack, Thank you for replying - much appreciated! As someone who doesn't fully understand the technical side of things then some of this information can be a bit confusing! I'm just trying to be more informed so that I can go to the developers and get the work done/look into solving it ourselves so just wanted to ask around for advice first. The URL is: https://www.pragmatiqsolutions.co.uk/ I have just loaded into the link you have provided but the waterfall and figures do not mean much to me haha
  4. Wondering if anyone can shed some light on what to do here because I am a bit lost regarding our keyword rankings... We have worked with multiple digital agencies regarding our SEO and website optimisation and lots of dev work has been done to speed things up and improve our keyword strategy. In February we were getting 1,300+ visitors to our site (900 of those organic). We have since had a keyword audit, strategy plan and conducted work on the site to improve things even further, however we have now dipped to 800 visitors with 500ish coming from organic. I understand that given the current circumstances that buyer intention/searching may be less, but I didn't expect to see quite a big decrease in our rankings and visitors, especially when we have made an investment into improvements. We use SEMrush to monitor our keyword rankings and this has gone from 390 in April to 273 in June. For a further breakdown of figures, in April the rankings were split like this: Top 3: 3 4-10: 9 11-20: 42 21-50: 154 51-100: 162 June: Top 3: 3 4-10: 3 11-20: 9 21-50: 95 51-100: 163 As you can see, there is a decline across all areas and I don't understand why this is happening, it just feels like no matter how much work we do I am just going round in circles! If anyone can shed any light or provide some advice on what to do I would be extremely grateful. Thanks in advance!

  6. Wondering if anyone can shed some light on what to do here because I am a bit lost regarding our website optimisation. (For reference I am the Marketing Manager but do not have a deep understanding on the technical side of things) We have worked with multiple digital agencies regarding our web optimisation/speed/SEO and lots of dev work has been done to speed things up. We have used GT Metrix to identify the improvements needed and have seen a good improvement across the board. I have attached a screenshot of our GT Metrix which before was rating D & F with a lot of improvement work. However, now this google update is coming next year I have become aware of the various areas to look at on 'pagespeed insights' and despite all the dev work, our desktop speed is 44 and mobile is a tragic 13! I have also attached a screenshot of our pagespeed insights so you can understand what I am talking about In the field data and origin summary sections it says there is not enough sufficient real-world speed data so doesn't supply figures for those areas and all other areas seem to be poor and do not mean much to me. What should I do in this situation and how can I improve the pagespeed insights? Just feels like no matter how much work we do I am just going round in circles! Thanks in advance!
