Help with excanvas Jquery plugin
That's strange, I still succeed to display this page. Maybe you can find information in these two plugins at an other link? Anybody else having the same issue to access these links?

Help with excanvas Jquery plugin
Thanks for your feedback. I moved the code at the beginning of the <head> tag but it didn't help: Any idea if the excanvas plugin might need some additional activation just like the backgroundcanvas? I checked both maierhofer links and didn't notice any problem from that side, can you please try again?

Help with excanvas Jquery plugin
I'm using the backgroundcanvas Jquery plugin for the rounded corners as can be seen on my site. This plugin works fine in FF but isn't expected to work in IE6+7. For that purpose the author suggests using an other JQuery plugin called exCanvas. Unfortunately I didn't succeed to implement this excanvas plugin and would be very grateful for any assistance, thanks in advance.

Updated design
Strange: I'm checking with both IE 6+7 and FF 3 at resolution 1280x800 down to 800x600 and the Contact button stays on the same line. Can you please provide more details?

Updated design
Thanks, I noticed the pixelisation only in IE7 but not in FF: I will have to investigate this.

Adding sub-menu to existing navigation
One way to accomplish this is by using Spry (Adobe's Ajax framework implemented in Dreamweaver).

My updated layout
Now I understand what he ment when talking about using tables: You are 100% right, DW generated the navigation bar for me. Since I'm completely new, I will have to find a good CSS tutorial to deal with my navigation bar...

My updated layout
Thanks, I will work on it. Regarding CSS, I'm not sure to understand since I didn't use any table in my layout and also my CSS code is located in a separate file. Finally, what's wrong with using Javascript to swap the navigation bar images?

Newbie need help with CSS and HTML
Hello everyone, My website doesn't display well in IE6 but it looks ok in IE7 or FF: The whole content is dragged down. Only the header and the sidebar are displayed correctly. I would appreciate any help since I'm basically clueless, I believe this might need a CSS hack or something but since I lack some experience, I would be more than happy to hear from you. My site: www.online-photo-lessons.com Thanks in advance, Thierry

Thanks for the suggestion: Do I need to make some conditional statements just for IE6 margins/paddings?

Feedback for my site
@Russell, Thanks for the link. @Helen, Thanks for your feedback and for the logo idea, will start working on that. @Fatrabbit, The Javascript is indeed for the rollover effect. You mentionned using CSS for achieving the same effect but I'm wondering if it offers any advantage to the current Javascript generated by Dreamweaver? @Guezela, Thanks for your feedback. Yes most of the links are not active yet (beside Photography Basics) because it's still a work in progress. I didn't know there was a difference in browsing speed between a PC and a Mac...

Feedback for my site
Thanks a lot Russell, Could you please point out what kind of errors I have with my HTML/CSS since I don't 'see' any error message in Dreamweaver. Is it possible that one of the errors you mentionned could cause my IE6 issue? By the way I started learning HTML and CSS from scratch three months ago and on a part time, that could explain those issues...

Newbie need help with site design
Hi everyone, I'm Thierry and I just started learning webdesign. Right now here's my work in progress: www.online-photo-lessons.com My problem is that the homepage doesn't display well in IE6 specifically: the whole content got dropped down except the navbar and the title bar. Most important: The page looks fine in any other browser (IE7, FF or Safari). Can someone please enlight me on how to solve this issue with IE6? Since I'm a total beginner, any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Thierry
