    I remember the first computer I saved my own hard-earned money for, back in 2003. I was just 14 years old, and managed to pull together $1000 for my first parts haul. Although I can't remember all it's specs, I do remember some of it quite well: Intel Pentium 4 @ 2,8 Ghz 512 GB RAM 80 GB Seagate harddisk drive (7200 RPM) Palit Daytona GeForce 4 ti4200 19" LG CRT monitor made of solid bricks It ran Battlefield 1942 smoothly, and I don't even know how many hours I spend in front of the monitor. I don't have any photos, but I kept the computer - figured it might be fun to power it up some day.
