If it's not fun for you as a job you should not be doing it, once you lose your passion for design you lose the ability for your designs to be effective.
-
The problem with WEBDESIGN is that its FUN if it's a hobby.... its not fun as a job its boring.
-
I agree with that! I'd also repeat myself, it also depends on the project itself.
Good client + good project = great!
Good client + bad project = OK
Bad client + good project = just about bearable
Bad client + bad project = nightmare

ebrahamluka got a reaction from danners2003 in I'm in a difficult situation, please give me adviceIn fact, that was exactly what I wanted to hear! Because I didn't want to feel alone in this!
Although we at the four corners of the world, we all felt the same.
So now it's time to get back to work!
Thank you very much esteemed colleagues.
You all relieved me! -

This ^^
Although my opinion probably means nothing in comparison to those who are already professionals and have been for years (and I'm just some kid). I can say that I've felt in a similar way. Sometimes I take on projects thinking I could manage easy and then it's almost like a brick wall is placed in front of me and I'm trapped - questions arise such as "what do I do?", " what if I'm not good enough" and "should I be doing this?!" But like the others have said, it seems to be a common thing with designers etc. I normally look on places such as themeforest, dribbble and so on just to get my brain back in gear, in hope that works.
Don't get yourself down about it, it seems a pretty common situation.

I would say all designers / creatives find themselves in a similar situation.
When I start a new project it's always the case the following thoughts come to my mind: "Why did I take this on, I can't do it (not good enough to do it)", "I'll let the client down, I have no ideas, I don't know how to solve this and nothing comes to my mind" and along those lines... however after I do a research and give myself a day break from the project just to allow my brain to process the facts and come up with idea / solution, it all comes up!
So I'd say it's normal, don't get too worked up about it and just give yourself a bit of time.

Inspiration is not created out of thin air, as that's the case when I am low on ideas (which happens loads) I go hunting for inspiration wherever I can find it.
When it comes to conceiving ideas I find a concept map really helps.

Dont let it get you down mate, happens to the best of us I'm sure. Keep ya head up!

That's a really nice site. The tools used to create it are simple to use, but putting it all together is something else.
They're making good use of Skrollr and Transit
The landscape / garden effect at the top and bottom of the page are .png images stacked on top of each other moving at different speeds on scroll.
The vector graphics that are animated are .svg files created in Illustrator.
These again, are animated as you scroll down the page. (very basic example of svg animation with Skrollr).
The portfolio pieces are just video files.
Take a look at these..

..and do a search for svg animation and parallax effects.
Good luck.
