  1. I see what you mean. However trying to genralise a document that applies to all projects that may or may not require content types to be defined is somewhat difficult. However during our discovery sessions we do look at the User Journey and how these users reach the end goal of the site. Content type thus depends on the audience, the aims and goals and of course purpose of the site. Theres a great article about content types here and I agree with some of the comments on just how unique content types are to each project. I think primarily my document is to create a process for all teams (PR, Management, Design, Development and Deployment) to work by in orde to delivery a product in a more timely and managed manner. I think Ill add the content types into the discovery stage.
  2. Panet Hippo. Not just for cost or for what you get with the package. But for the sake of 100% awsome support at no etra cost.
  3. Surely you have to step back out of the box, away from the web all together and look at web design and development as being slices of a much bigger cake. I step back to see the topic of Content Delivery; how best to deliver the content to my end users. If I understand the purpose of the content that requires delivering then surely I can conclude the most efficient way to deliver that content to my end user through the appropriate media. If the answer is a website, then I should totally understand 100% of the websites deisgn and functionality. Thus I am enlightened. lol
  4. Hi All Im trying to pitch a new Web Development Process Management document for the company I work for. The idea being to bring structure and clarity to all digital projects for designers, devs and client alike. I wonder if some of you might like to have a look and provide your feedback before my pitch this afternoon and see what you think. Thanks Edit: To include BlueDreamer's comment on content types
