Thankyou @@junior for your feedback it is most apreciated and to all of you aswell. The invite a friends page at the moment does not have that function so it will alow you to invite them as many times as posible, something i need to work on with my PHP. The message also i need to change as it does not say about the spam again thankyou for this. The edit profile is a case of adding some CSS although i need to change some of the code as you have mentioned regarding the user name and display name. Everything that everyone has mentioned has been noted in my user testing so thankyou for doing this to you all, and all the changes and recomendations are going to be addressed in the next few weeks as soon as i have time between other projects and put into place. there are issues i have picked up on myself but it might just be my interner. When writting an open topic and sometimes in the chat its as though a script or something is running as it doesnt always pick up on whats being typed. For example i could type 'yadayadayadayadayadayada' but it only displays 'yadaydayayaada'. Also for those who joined and looked around if you would like me to delete you from the site/database and the details you have prodived just let me know and i will. Thankyou all so much for the feedback on this, its all noted, documented as anon source. and as soon as this friday hand in is over i will be working on the issues presented. Responsive, register, accessability in general and link colours all seem to be the main areas I think i need a rethink of the whole landing page design to accomodate what the site is about but also the ability to regester there and then. hopefully this will then help turn the trafic into users. Thanks again everyone, you have saved me on the user testing side of the project. And @@Fuzzy Logic is right on the ipad there is/ should only be the log in. This really is for my grade to show i did some responsive work even though its not great. (thats uni for ya though)

Thanks for this. With the website being a full social media website, i did not finish the responisveness for this, i know it really bad practice but i can only do so much, ideally the website would be supported by an app but again not enough time. If the issues so far are on the responsive side then i will try and fit this in this week between the documentation. Again thankyou for this it is valuable as it will be mentioned that responsive websites are a must these days.

Thanks for this everyone all your advice has been taken on board. It seems at the moment where i live anyway alot of the jobs are all asking for HTML CSS skills for front end developers but alot of companies are just using frameworks. Laravel is massive and a big must amonst companies too it seems. As a student i have the chance to shape my path and i thnk i will do both to cover myself, as in 3 years the web will have changed direction again. Whats hot now may not be in years to come.

Hi all please could you all user test my website. I have thrown myself in the deepend with this uni project and took a good year to do. The website id www.mygrassroots.co.uk For all testers please could you do the following. 1. join 2.edit profile 3 invite a friend 4 post a sport topic. If you dont phsyically do this its ok as long as you can find them easy or not. Then please feed back on these and any other issues you find, im sure there will be a few. I would like to use your usertesting comments in my documentation but done as a anon source if this is ok please mention in the comment for those that help if any lol.

Google seo is a good way to get found by people. I guess other involve social media advertising create a page invite your friends get them to share. or get your freinds to spread the word. Word of mouth is the best form of advertising.

I have had a little play with this for the about menu and in the class sub-menu i changed the margin from 0 0 0 -2 to 0 0 0 -26. It all goes out of place but lines up with the first one. the kingfisher under the first menu also lines up with the margin i sent. So my suggestion is, that it is your margins somewhere in your code that is causing this to happen. I am new to development so thats my best help lol

Hi i am new to this forum and web developing, I am a student studying webdesign and will hopefully be using this froum when i get stuck on a project. lol i have a website that i am wating user testing on for my uni project, but it will not let me post in half of the forum topics is there a reason for this or something i have to do first lol.
