Hi guys and gals, I was wondering if I could get a bit of feedback on this site. http://www.jevonz.co.uk I've still got a little bit more to do; reduce loading times, wait for the actual text content to be sent to me, add some social media buttons. Hey there, I'm currently getting my portfolio online but i've reached a cross roads as to how I'm actually going to present each piece of work i've done. I've noticed on alot (and i mean alot) of portfolio sites, people have gone for the.. 'stick the work in an iMac / iPad / iPhone approach. Which don't get me wrong, it looks pretty decent but I've seen so many people do it now, i'd almost feel dirty doing it too. How do you display yours? Would getting rid of the the fancy padding and jut displaying the work do? I mean after all, it's the work that your presenting? Cheers Sam

Hi there, I've been using Dreamweaver's Fluid Grid system lately, I just wanted to know your opinions on it? It's served me well, as an introduction in to fluid grids and responsive design but I can't help but feel it's somewhat limiting? There must be better ways out there surely? Hi there, I recently created a topic regarding when not to create a mobile site, that received a few interesting and conflicting opinions but thanks for them all! So now my thoughts have turned to this. What's better? A responsive design or a mobile site? I'm making a site for an illustrator friend of mine, i've tried a bit of tinkering to make it responsive but i've found it severely affects the design of the site, so perhaps a totally separate mobile site would suit far better, so it would allow me to make a new but similar design (Or i could even go for that mobile app look). Is this bad practise though? I've looked online and lot of people (including google) say you should go responsive (just because google says so doesn't make it right though .... right?) but my gut says go for a separate mobile site. Your thoughts and opinions would be greatly appreciated and meet with much enthusiasm. Cheers!

Hi there, I'm currently making a portfolio for an illustrator friend and was wondering whether it was worth making it responsive? I've done a few responsive designs in the past but for small local business (something that a personal would actually look up on their mobile). Would it be a bit pointless to make my friends site responsive? After all, the whole point of it, is for him to showcase his artwork, so you would never really get the intended experience on a mobile, responsive or not. I was just wondering what your thoughts were on the subject. Cheers!
