eCenica got a reaction from andy9l in How to move wordpress to another domainThis Search & Replace DB script is also useful for swapping references of your domain name in your WordPress database.
http://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/
Importantly. If you're using it on a live web hosting environment make sure you delete the file after use.

eCenica got a reaction from welshhuw in WordPress HackedGood advice by Mei.
Our advice to our web hosting customers running WordPress is, the less popular the WordPress plugins/themes, the more suspicious you should be of the code.
A simple string search of the plugins files/theme for "base64" is a good start for detecting some of the nastiest JavaScript injections.

eCenica got a reaction from welshhuw in WordPress HackedSorry to hear your sites have been compromised.
With so many variables it's normally impossible to say exactly how your site was hacked.
First checkout http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_My_site_was_hacked
As you'll see WordPress recommend contacting your hosts. Have they given you any advice? - If your host is like us, they'll work through your log files and look for anything strange. Sometimes this can be enough to work back to a particular plugin etc.
These pages may also help; http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/search?q=hacked
Cheers,
Rich
P.S: Forgot to ask, what version of WP were you running at the time?

eCenica got a reaction from DigitalSquid in Proserve ukSearch engines do look at the server location (IP address) when ranking sites so it could affect SEO.
Google is clever enough to know that if you're using a .co.uk domain name then you're aiming at the UK, and will list you in the regional Google. Likewise .DE for Germany, .FR for France etc.
We always encourage our users to authenticate their sites with Google Webmaster Tools just to optimise their listing.
Google for example is increasingly factoring in the site load time when it comes to ranking sites. Faster sites bei placed higher than slower ones.
Sever location, DNS location, hardware and of course the site code all influence the site speed. It does make sense, as I guess Google wants to give their end-users the best experience.
My hunch is an identical site hosted in the UK would always rank higher than one hosted in Germany.
There are also other downsides. Your site is ruled by German Law, not UK law. How easily can your hosts actually get hands-on with their servers? Assuming they're not just resellers. Extra network hops. DNS location. The closer your DNS is to your sever and customers, the faster your site will load.
I could go on but I'll stop for fear of boring everyone
Cheers,
Rich
P.S: You could try asking your host for advice. Our Ecenica Team are always happy to help our users with these type of things.

eCenica got a reaction from snoogins in Grill my websiteSite looks OK.
Agree with comments about the bird logo. What I suggest is strengthening your brand by tweaking your colour scheme so it fits whatever logo you choose.
Also for us the photos under your slider don't really encourage clicking them. Have you tried swapping them out with words instead?
Eg:
Network | Impress | Tips | Present | Win ...
Also those stock photos seem a little generic/bland. This is always the downside to using what I'm guessing is stock photography. One tip for spicing those photos up is to incorporate your brand into them. Maybe make them link with your text on the right, rather than just a square shape.
Also. Coming from a web hosting perspective, rather than a designer - if you're not already doing so already, it's worth using a WordPress cache plugin to speed up loads times. WP Super Cache and W3-Total-Cache are good choice.
Also. If you're looking for a WordPress SEO plugin go for Yoast WordPress SEO, over All In One SEO.
All the best
