  1. Hello, I am having a real problem fixing this and I am not having much useful help from the peeps over on the Zen Cart forum, they just keep saying tell the client to upgrade his browser. However they don't realise what the client is like, he already thinks everything is a conspiracy and his view is that if he is using IE its his right and other people will be doing the same :/ Anyway I must be able to fix it.... the site is www englishflagsandgear co uk all other tests are ok but IE 6 and 7 there is a gap of white space under the header. Sorry won't let me post a link properly or a pic . Please help before I have a nervous breakdown!
  2. ok i think I have done it, I had this in the CSS * html div#primary { left:20px; position:relative; } Don't know what it was, I removed it and et voila! It seems to look the same in ff / safari, but also is looking ok in ie. Sometimes just talking it through really helps!
  3. here is screenshot, the picture of the lady is the sidebar in question, see how its lower down.
  4. Please can someone advise me on how to get my left sidebar in it's correct position. I have set up conditional comments and tried different things but its no good. I have also tried moving the div tag that calls the sidebar but I just can't get it right. The url for the site is http://www.geniusretail.com. It looks great in ff and safari, I only have ie 6 running on crossover. The right sidebar is ok, but the left seems to be pushed down underneath content. I don't understand, please help, I have been trying to fix it for nearly 2 days!
  5. I can't get that method to work, the color is still grey.
  6. I am trying to style a newsletter subscription box on a site I am building. I have managed to get it looking as I wanted apart from one thing, the submit button. I have changed it from saying "submit" to "go", but cannot seem to work out how to change the appearance of the button, such as its color. I want the button to be purple, is this possible? And also I wanted it positioned to the right of the input box, rather than underneath it. If so any instructions on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated. I have attached some documents (css and php) and an image to show my problem. phplist.css phplist.php
  7. Hi, my website was all ok in internet explorer(s) safari and firefox, but now I have updated to firefox 3.0.1 the header and the footer, or the content I'm not sure which) is ever so slightly out of alignment. Does anyone know why this has happened and how I can fix the problem. Many thanks in advance x http://www.deedmedia.com I have attached a screenshot to show.
  8. Aww thanks everyone, its nice to be made to feel welcome. I live in Weston super Mare for my sins! I'm from the West Midlands originally, and I am gradually working my way down to Cornwall!
  9. Hi, just wanted to say hi, I am new here. I am a web designer in South West UK and I have just started my own business (yesterday) in web design and multimedia. I have completed two years at college doing a HND and done a gazillion business courses and I finally made it to becoming self employed - hooray. The trouble is now I have no friends. So I decided to come here and make some new ones! So hello, its nice to meet you all.
