  1. was typing my post as previous one was added clue: the error is in line 105 - character 1 'document.clckh.disp is null or is not an object' This is part of your date script. the line is responsible for subtracting 12 from the hours in the clock in the event that the figure for 'hrs' is more than 12. In otherwords it converts 24hour clock to 12 hour clock. This function may not be necessary for you as you don't seem to display the time, just the date. try making this line a remark and see what happens.
  2. Wow! thanks every one for the feed back. I know lots of the pictures are pixelated through resizig in html. This is simply because I am not going to (or wasn't going to) resize them all properly until the layout was definate. It now is and all the images will be re.done from the originals. The logo also is the old comany logo. in effect, just there as a place holder! kenv - I am afraid I have to say you are wrong. All the pages are xhtml 1.0 transitional. I dont know if you were looking at this when I was messing with it and perhaps one or two changes temporarily knocked out the compliance but I have just checked every page and the all pass validation! thanks for noticing though, the final site will all be permanantly complient! Helen - I was messing with the bottom part of the page with all the links yesterday. I was copying all of that section into a seperate table for ease when making new pages. It should now work, but thanks for spotting! EDIT: Helen I just realized what you meant. There will bo a link to each site in the portfiolio, one of those little jobs on the list. I was thinking twice about this as most of the sites are hosted on the same server as my site. It isnt good to have a load of sites on one server all linked, googlebot gets suspicous and can mark you down for it. notbanksy - The blue lines (purple once visited) are as a result of them being new and have not yet coded out by use of CSS. this was an oversite! - Thanks very much! gdehms - Thanks for your comments, I really do appreaciate it. I am going to say though, I simply disagree, from a design perspective the wide colour palette is diliberate. All the colours are tonaly related but by have the diversity I have been able to move the eye through the site at diagonals. Desirable to me if no you. Again I do appreciate your comment! Thanks again everyone!
