  1. Thank you for the reply. Is there anything I can do to speed up the indexing process? I have already used my allowance within Fetch as Google in Webmaster Tools. Sitemap has been submitted.
  2. Hi I have a new e-commerce site of 6500 pages which is slowly being indexed by Google. Todate, and over the last month, only 976 pages have been indexed. I have tried adding pages through the Fetch as Google in webmaster tools, but this has not significantly helped. Is it normal for a website of this number of pages to take so long to index? Also when I check webmaster tools, the Dashboard page for URL's Indexed will give me a different result to the Index Status page. Then if I do a site:mydomainname.co.uk this will also give a different result. Any one have an explanation for the different results? Thanks
  3. Thank you for your replies. Just wanted to check.
  4. I have a customer that wants to adopt a different approach to optimising his website. His business has a number of unique product offerings (say for this example dog food, cat food, rabbit food, etc). So what he wants to do is buy a unique domain name for each product, so he would purchase: www.hisdomainname-dogfood.com www.hisdomainname-catfood.com www.hisdomainname-rabbitfood.com etc I personal do not see any merit in adopting this approach, it just seems like a lot more work optimising 10 specific product sites. His reason for wanting to go down this route is such that he can take a customer, via a search, straight to his specific product. Just wanted to see what other people thought of this?
  5. It looks like that was not the case. Just unable to open the file.
  6. Hi I have an Indesign File that has been designed in Adobe CS5, but I am currently using CS4. If I was to send the file, could someone roll this back to CS4 for me please?
  7. There use to be on this forum a Jobs thread, but I am unable to locate. Can I ask for a designer here these days?
