Hi All I'm almost there now with my site due to help from some awesome people however there is one thing still bugging me! when i do new posts im selecting images however they are now goint in to my posts! - ive looked somethings up and it appears to be conflicting widgets however i have no idea which ones! has anybody come across this problem before? this is the site: http://anphonicbeats.com/ as always thanks for your help Spk Soon Jason ps this is a word press site

Cheers Man - Since I posted this the website has changed, I did a theme update and it cleared all my custom css! now i have to re do it all again!

good point - thank you in the near future i am having sliding text that will be over the pictures on the home page - also the all this will be the header for every page - just need to figure out how to do it thanks for the feedback Jason

Hi All i designed a web site in Moon fruit a while back and it didnt look over professional so i decided to re do it using word press theres still a couple of things i would like to do to this site as yet however if anyone has any ideas for improvements that would be great www.anphonicbeats.com ps i am looking to have the home page fading banner on every page, just need to figure out how to do it. also the news page wont allow me to post pictures... something is clashing due to conflicting widgets but not sure which ones i look forward o hearing from you thanks jaosn

Hi yeah thats correct - as i am new to this some of the things i am learning as i go... which css editor? - i can go in to: Appearance, Theme options, Custom css style or appearance, edit css apologies - ive only been using word press for a few weeks...

well if you see on the site... www.anphonicbeats.com I now have, thanks to you - the home page, then i have Anphonic News - on here i want to post news such as new tracks, artists, new partners, events ect where people could perhaps subscribe ......?, like, comment ect? also, when the blog/news is done - would i be able to link it to pages such as facebook & twitter ect so it posts automatically there too sounds like im asking the impossible?? thanks for your help man! very much appreciated Jason

hi that does kind of work however it puts the home button at the top of the page, not in the menu bar..... thanks for everyones help so far..... any more tips?

Hi all i have just had to rebuild my site in word press due to a problem that "apparently" could not be fixed... I'm almost there again now however i want the landing page (the one that comes up when you first go to...... www.anphonicbeats.com ... to be be on its own tab and to be names as "Anphonic Beats" so you can go back to this page when you have navigated through the other pages on the site.... can some one please help and let me know how this can be done? thanks again Jaosn

im letting word press do it... i think! im creating the pages, and draging them where i need them in the "appearance", Menu's section...?

Hi guys i posted a topic a short while back in regards to some feedback on a site i built on moonfuit - the general feedback was that is was a little pants and word press was pretty much the way forward - so thats what ive done!... its not looking too bad to say i have no experience on web design however i am having trouble with some of the pages! http://www.anphonicbeats.com/ when you go on to the Home page (Anphonic Beats) then go through the other pages..... (they all work fine) however if you navigate or click on the home page again - a new window opens up with a 404 error! the theme i am using is a word press theme called: Reactive thanks as always for your help J

Hi All a frew weeks ago i posted a link to a site i made in Moonfruit and the general feed back was that no body would sign to my record label if the site looked crap.... as hard as was at first to take this on board at first (after 7 days solid looking at moonfruit) i now se what people are saying....... Word press it is! signed up, got my account, installed word press and now i need to transfer my domain from Moonfruit to Hostgator. the registrar is Ghandi from what i can see... i can do this a number of ways - pull my domain from ghandi to host gator or fill in the info at moonfruit.... either way i still need one bit of info - the Authorisation code! as i registered the domain initially via moonfruit i do not have an account with ghandi so i cant log on ect and get requested code..... so this is what im doing so far.... loging on to moonfruit... - clicking on transfer in the domains section - filling in the domain i want to transfer (anphonicbeats.com) - then at this stage it is asking if i have an auth code - if so click the box and continue... if i don't have it i need to go to the registrar and unlock the domain (which i cant log on to!) - this is making me pull my hair out!! can anyone help??? thank you Jason

Hay Jemesosix - i plan to get some one to create a site for me in the future however this is the best i can do at the moment - i agree - moonfruite is pants and there so much more i want to do such as embedded soundcloud players and a proper member's forum and a page where people could buy my tracks ect this is the feedback i was looking for - the player has now gone all together after most people seem to say the same thing - thanks guys when you say white tect on the podcasts - do you mean on the home page or on the podcasts page? - the pics on the home page i have done in SC5 - so may have to make some changers there.... thanks again :)
