  1. Hi I have been doing some reading on the EU cookie law. I do not understand if we have to or if we do not have to provide a request for, in the form of a pop up button thingy, to ask the vistor if they are happy with using cookies on our site. I have found a great Aduit tool from attacat who have a great questionare tool in which to generate the word that we could use for a cookie page off a privacy page. However I still do not understand if I have to have legally a button for a visitor to click. Below I have list what we are using cookies for and what we are not using cookies for. Our cookies help us: Make our website work as you'd expect Save you having to login every time you visit the site Remember your settings during and between visits Offer you free services/content (thanks to advertising) Improve the speed/security of the site Allow you to share pages with social networks like Facebook Continuously improve our website for you Make our marketing more efficient (ultimately helping us to offer the service we do at the price we do) We do not use cookies to: Collect any personally identifiable information (without your express permission) Collect any sensitive information (without your express permission) Pass personally identifiable data to third parties Pay sales commissions Any help welcome.
