Hi everybody, I hope somebody can help me! I am using a customized WP theme on my site, and all worked fine. I have 1 news article on my website. However I have posted a new portfolio item, only tagged with category 'feature'. But it appears under my News page, where only posts tagged with 'News' should appear. I am not sure if this is being caused by my last update of WP or if it's a bug in a code? There is an option for Blog page settings, and if I choose only the "News" tag, it still shows both articles. What can I do to correct this? Is somebody willing to have a look and help me? My designer couldn't find a solution and is now MIA

Hi, I am really clueless about anything XML. I am trying to understand it but please excuse me if I post a silly question. I enabled a Sitemap.xml file through Google Webmaster Tool. Because it seems handy. And later on I deleted it. Because I didn't understand it. But now a Sitemap1.xml keeps showing up in Google searchresults when I search for my website. I have read on other forums how to exclude the xml page of Google results but I don't understand how to that in my website coding. It's about the code X-Robots-Tag: noindex If I am right, this should be preventing Google crawlers to include the XML page into searchresults, right? My website is based on a Tumblr blog, and should I then include this code somehow in the CSS code?? I have this already in my CSS code. But I don't know how to uuh... help. <meta name="robots" content="index, follow"> <meta name="revisit-after" content="3 days"> Should I just enter <meta name="X-Robots-Tag"="noindex"> ? Oh, another thing, I still want to let search engines crawl my website because of news updates. Does hiding the XML file in searchresults affect this?

Hi, I am making a blogger website for my friend. I am using a premade template and tweak it a little bit to fit my friends wishes. But the template is build this way so regular posts are displayed first and then comes the Text/HTML widget. I want to place a short text before all the regular posts on the upper left side below the menubar. I tried it to arrange it through Blogger but somehow I can't place anything before the regular blogposts except the widget Popular Posts. The widget Popular Posts has the spot I want to use for my Text/HTML widget. But I don't know how to move my Text/HTML widget to that spot. They renewed Blogger so I don't have a clue how to tweak it. I won't use the widget Popular Posts, I just turned it on to make my problem clear. Hopefully somebody can take a look and help me? I only would like to have 1 text/html widget on top. Then comes all the blogposts. And below the blogposts, I want to keep the possibility to have more text/html widgets. Hope it's possible..

Hi, I know what's causing the problems: the post with the embedded soundfile as a player (audio post). Because I deleted this post, everything is working fine now. I guess it's better not to use that kind of post, or to improve coding of that one. Can you look if something wrong with the player/sound post? (I don't know the right name of this kind of post). I inserted another audio posts to test.

Hello, ok I changed it. But the backgrounds are still black... What should I do? Also, I tried other kind of postings as a test, and if I try a music post with an embedded file (such as soundcloud music). The layout is weird and the player does't show up. Do you have an idea how this can happen? And the topbar with an "up" button is suddenly showing! Since I have installed this theme, it wasn't working at all. Now it's showing but it's not functioning right... do you also know why? Sorry for so many questions.

Hello, i am designing this website (password: background1) and now i am stuck!! It's a tumblr based website. It's one thing, the background color of the blockquotes. It's black now, also the footerlinks of each post (and border of searchbox) don't change color when being hovered over. Hereyou can see the original tumblr layout which i am using. What I changed are the background colours of the page-wrapper and bg-wrapper to transparent. But suddenly the black boxes now come up. Maybe it has to do with the code in custom css?? #bg-wrapper { background: none; } But when I am removing this code, the background of the page isn't transparent anymore. What should I do to fix it? I guess some codes are maybe conflicting each other?? I hope somebody can help me, it's the last fix of this website.
