I have a list of businesses in word format. I'm told that this type of format can not be set up in HTML, is this true? The word format is like this: When you enter the business name the other names automatically moves down to make room for the new listing. This is done without losing the format. This is setup in a 3 column format where the names snakes over to the next column. Is there a special application for this effect?

You are so right, I do want feed back on the website. But I guess I already know that I need to fix the website. So that is why I asked for someone to redesign the website.

The reason for the post is to find someone to give a better looking and foundational website. Can you do this?

But other then the fact it was designed in FB what else does it need to be more effective? As I told the previous posters I did just that but people do LIE and some designers think they are better then what they really are.

That is how I found the last two clowns posting my needs on a couple of forums.

I have posted on a number of different forums about web sites trying to find a good reliable web site designer. I have lost money trying to find the right one. Now I'm almost out of my budget for web design and still don't have a web site that is working like a good web site should. I just wanted a nice looking web site to sell my products and attract new and repeat customers. So far after almost a year of trying I still don't have a web site that can sell one of my products. So I ask how do you really find a good web designer. I have looked a the portfolios and seen some nice work, but the designers did not deliver good quality work. They started and drew down some part of the escrow and never finish. Another one finish the web site and I paid him off just to get rid of him although I did not like the finish product. So I ask HOW do you find a good web designer especially since I have used up most of my budget. Any ideas?

As a restaurant owner, I know I can sharpen my knife many time over (and I did even when I used my wood cutting board) but I know glass cutting boards are safer and healthier "NO cross contamination from bacteria" this is possible with wood or plastic cutting boards. My health is far more important than my knives. I can buy more knives no matter what the cost and I had very expensive knives.

I'm setting up a new website and the person has recommended oscommerce. I don't know html, but I want to make some product changes on my website to keep it very current, but I don't want to have to contact my website manager for every change. Also I'm looking for someone that can create this site.

If this shows up twice sorry about that, my mistake. I agree with what you say about the flash, the skip button should be there for the reasons mentioned and because a lot of people are like me...I don't like flash and I almost always skip them, they have to really grab me to get me to play them through...and most of all I don't like the dumb music I have to suffer through...you will notice NO MUSIC on the site. Tables? what would I use if I did not use tables. Would the change be as effective and would it help me to sell more cutting boards. One other thing I have another idea for a flash, if there is someone out there that is good developing flash that don't charge and arm and a leg(sorry Mel Brooks) I would like them to contact me.
