  1. hehehehe...me too .. there is a lot more inspiring design in there...but i truly love on this one...
  2. yeah...i was thinking like that too...but...its not. i noticed it when i download all images and javascript(its not piracy right?? )from there...that the stars and clouds is not a .gif animated file. its a javascript work...nice ehh... WOW...can you show me the code??(a simple one its ok) or some link to make smooth jumping animation like that?? the most scary part is knowing that my skills is still beyond below. and just can say "WOWW" i agree...and if you notice..the small door is clickable too...
  3. Hello Everyone, Today I just found a website http://www.volll.com/ (wonderful website i can say that)..and it has some moving background and little bit flash,, i just wonder how can i doing a moving background like that?? or has someone build something like that?? can you tell me how??
  4. well...its just my suggestion Robh...if you not agree...maybe its just about different style between you and me . but i wanna say Congratulations to you Robh...i can see from every comments in here...that everybody loved your site...
  5. hmm..in my opinion....maybe you should change the maincontent background(white) to be darker...so there is a 'feel of unity' between body background and maincontent background. and maybe you can make it half transparency between them,, and make the text more lighter then..so people can see the text clearly,,
  6. i've seen the website...i love the background from your website...but hmm...sorry...from my first impression the layout..its just too blog layout and too plain...its like missing the detail. sorry robh if my comment is disappointed you...i just want to be honest with you...and i know you can do more than that...and make a greater website...
  7. hey roberto...welcome to the forum ,, rachael and subhajit is right. you should learn that(HTML, XHTML, CSS, PHP, MYSQL), why?? because it's the basic of website programming. and after that to make paging like on that site you have to learn about javascript...end then AJAX...
  8. wow...what a site...thanks mr bigdog...your link is very useful for learning flash...they even have the file and video tutorial...
  9. for PNG's Transparency in IE 6.0 or below try this one.... http://www.twinhelix.com/css/iepngfix/ there is a file for demo as well...try it...might be help
  10. hoho...thats good for you...sorry i didn't do anything to help you..its just i have some task from my boss suddenly...so i cant figure it out...nice website btw... keep it up..
  11. What IE Publik?? IE6 or IE7?? for your information...usually...there is different result between IE6, IE7 and Firefox. but i'll try to help you the best i can...Download in Progress ...
  12. i think first thing first about designing a good design is knowing the element of the web design its just like learning the language..if language has the element such as : 1. verb 2. adjective 3. etc etc etc.... and in the web design you should know the element such as : 1. web design layout. 2. color 3. typography 4. picture 5. Idea, imagination, creativity. 6. how to combine it all... you must learn that step by step....and as a robh said...i recommend the "The Principles of Beautiful Web Design" too...its good from starting point... after that you can learn about javascript, jquery, mootools or even flash to make your website look better...or even the best...
  13. thanks thomas....thats very good article....cant wait to try it
  14. there is some different look between IE7 and firefox on section Blogroll... and here is what i think : 1. i think your font is too big...make it smaller. 2. add some space between Text "Richard Lyon" and the border-bottom. 3. i think its nicer if you put your vectorized face. (well.. i'm vector lover. so forgive me about this subjective opinion. ) 4. go to http://www.webdesignerwall.com/trends/grid...column-designs/ for more inspiration. i hope this help
  15. hehehehehehehehe...
