  1. I am working on a responsive layout design (www.eyetooth-art.co.uk/2013) and have come across an issue with wrapping / floating elements. I would like the left hand section to be laid out so that the columns all wrap directly below each other. At the moment the right hand column is causing wrapping issues, which makes some of the left hand content appear below it (the right section) and I'm not sure how to fix this? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
  2. I would like to use variable heights for an accordion but when you click on another panel the height seems to be taller than necessary. Is there some extra code I should add to get the panels to be the exact height of the content other than 'useFixedPanelHeights: false'? Please see the accordion on the left hand side of the page here: http://www.eyetooth-art.co.uk/. it doesn't display correctly in firefox and chrome. Any advice would be welcome.
  3. thanks for your help, I managed to sort some of the issues by reordering each element and placing the slider code at the bottom of the page (not in the header). I could not only use one jquery script though as some java used the CDN version while the other used the google one.
  4. Yes the css for the slider are covered by these 2 lines of code "<link rel="stylesheet" href="jquery.aw-showcase/css/style.css" />" and "<link rel="stylesheet" href="jquery.aw-showcase/css/style-index5.css" />" I think the problem lies in a conflict between:- "<script type="text/javascript" src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.5.2/jquery.min.js"></script>" and "<script type="text/javascript" src="http://cdn.jquerytools.org/1.2.5/full/jquery.tools.min.js"></script>" but for some reason if I remove one or the other half the functionality stops working. I want to run 3 different javascript functions on the same page:- Slider - (currently not working) "<script type="text/javascript" src="jquery.aw-showcase/jquery.aw-showcase.js"></script>" Shadow box for image preview popups<script type="text/javascript" src="/shadowbox-3.0.3/shadowbox.js"></script> Lastly Jquery tootltips for pop up descriptions of thumbnails on the site.
  5. I am working on revamping my site which uses some jquery code. I would like to use other javascript on the site to create a slider of images. (http://www.eyetooth-art.co.uk/index2012.html). The slider I am trying to use is awkward's slider and there seem to be conflicts between the different bits of javascript on the site. I have also tried other sliders and the none of them seem to function. I am not that good with java so would like to know either what i am doing wrong or what i could use that would be compatible with the existing site. I am also working on a version of the homepage that uses parallax scrolling and the same error occurs - slider does nothing just lists the slides one under the other (http://www.eyetooth-art.co.uk/2012/home-slide.html). Please let me know if you need any other information form me. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
  6. the images are resized at 100% height of the container div via the css file. I will be inserting the images manually not via a database. I can attach the css file if that helps?
  7. thanks for your suggestion, but I'd really like to figure this one out myself and not use a template. I might try to see if I can take a look at the code from one of their templates to get some hints.
  8. I am trying to create a template for images that scroll horizontally and also fill 100% of the height of the page. I have most of the coding worked out but am struggling with a way to automatically extend the page horizontally to fit any content added to it. I can set a standard width for the page but that means that the images either wrap onto the next line or there is excess space to the right of the last image. This all depends on the height / size of the browser, which in turn makes the width longer / shorter. My client is going to add his own content for a variety of different galleries which will vary in the amount of images included and also the size of them. Please take a look here to see what I mean - http://www.booheads.co.uk/height/ Any help of advice would be much appreciated. Thanks, Steve P.S. please let me know if I should include any other files.
