  2. Hi I am working on the Oneup theme, for some reason the link which should open projects within the page is not working. The projects appear as a thumbnail image and when clicked should open a project, which is effectively a gallery. If I right click and chose open in a new tab it works fine.I would appreciate any help with this. The website is http://www.daverudge.photography/ The website is still a work in preogress
  3. Hi, I have created a website using Dreamweaver, The website views correctly on a PC or Laptop, but when I view it on a tablet part of the background disappears. The strange thing is that this does not happen for the index page on subsequent pages. it appears that the background does not go all the wey to the left of the pages and also the Contact Us tab on the top menu is not shown on Mobile but it is on a tablet. I undertand that I have not designed the site to be device compatible, but just wondered if it was a simple fix. You can view the site here: tinyurl.com/kefw13 Cheers smeagain

Hi I need to create a form which a user can enter a number into 2 separate fields and the form automatically and instantaneously calculate the sum of the 2 fields. I will try and explain a bit better the user will enter a number for the length of a room then another number for the width of the room and the form will then show the area total of the room. I then need to have a drop down box, the first option will be for 8 x4 plaster boards and the second for 6 x 3 plaster boards. Which ever one the user chooses I need the form to work out how many would be required, I know that if you choose 8 x 4 you divide the area by 2.88 and if you choose 6 x 3 you divide the area by 1.08. I then need this information to be sent by email when the form is submitted. Can anyone help?

Hi, to promote a website I have created I have set up a newsletter for users of the site. I have added a page where users can subscribe/unsubscribe but I would like to add the unsubscibe feature to my newsletter. Can anyone help me with the correct html code that I can add to a button, so that if a user clicks the button it automatically sends me their email address without it opening up their email program, it just does it in the background? Cheers

Hi, I have developed a website from a template. I have no real knowledge of html on what I have picked up from using dreamweaver. I have made a few changes to the template and now appear to have a huge space at the top of my web page. Here is the jsfiddle jsfiddle and the web page can be viewed on my testing site here web page example. Can any tell me what I need to change to make this look tidy please. I have viewed the html and css using visualbee but I can not see what is causing the space. Cheers
  7. Hi Thank you for getting back to me, but I have no real knowledge of programming and would not know where to start in making an IE exception.
  8. HI, I have developed a website from a template, but I am having a problem when viewing it in Internet explorer. There is a java script slider which has 5 panels each of which is numbered, when I view the webpage in Firefox the numbers are nice and crisp, but in Internet Exlorer they look really blurred. I did not think this would happen as the website has a css which I thought would ensure cross browser compatibility. Here is the link to the jsfiddle jsfiddle or you can view the website here website. Can anyone please tell me how to correct this.

Hi, I have created a simple web page for testing a form. I am trying to adapt a form that I got with a template. When I click submit on the form it just displays the php script in a browser. I have created a jsfiddle with the html and the php script. jsfiddle and the web page can be viewed here web page. I did check the php with an online php checker and there were no errors.

  13. Hi I need some help with my HTML tags. I have created a website using a template and want it to be W3C compliant. When I run the W3C check it says: Line 234, Column 13: document type does not allow element "p" here; assuming missing "li" start-tag <p>Registered in England</p> ✉ Error Line 237, Column 13: end tag for "li" omitted, but OMITTAG NO was specified </ul> ✉ You may have neglected to close an element, or perhaps you meant to "self-close" an element, that is, ending it with "/>" instead of ">". I am learning Html but do not understand why It does not like the paragrph tags?, I have tried removing them and just having the text but then I lose all of the formatting from the css. I have attached a jsfiddle jsfiddle and the website can be found at website
  14. Hi, Thank you for all of your help.
  15. Thank you for your help, the form is now sending emails ok. I have a question, my sites are hosted by GoDaddy and when the form sends emails it obviously goes via thier email server and when it arrives at the requested inbox it says it comes from noreply@onlineserver.cc, is there a way of changing this?
