  1. Hi I've found the i18n folder and created a es.ES.po file. However a few words and terms aren't there to change?: Showing the single result Reviews (in the product page tabs) Related Products Really would appreciate some help and guidance on this one. thanks in advance.
  2. Now thats been said on here a few times, and I simply don't agree, it does matter, you can look at Moz and the links in relation to Google search positioning for particular key phrases and key questions and in nearly all cases its clearly down to highly ranking relevant incoming links, of course the site needs to be properly constructed in the first place, but thats a given. It always a combination. 'Google doesn't really care so much about backlinks now and in many cases can actually hurt your position in search results.' providing the links are good and relevant this simply isn't the case I'm afraid.
  3. Hi all I've been using http://www.ontoplist.com/ for a while now, simply add the small banner on a page somewhere no one will ever visit and the site appears on Google searched within a few days, proper internal links means the whole site is visible in no time, free and easy. Also you are pretty much guaranteed atleast a 15 PA and 15 DA with just that one link, often higher, so a reasonable starting point all round. Anyway now I've shared I'm asking if other developers are happy to share their similar little blogs or directories which have a larger impact on listings and authority. The backlinking bang for little or no buck. Look forward to your insights
  4. yes bootstrap. Worked it out the div was inside another div that was floating to the left. Much appreciated.
  5. <div class="col-md-12" style="text-align:center;"> <a class="logo" href="#"><img src="images/old_elm.png" alt="Special Occasion Cars. Chauffeur driven cars london."></a> </div> No change I'm afraid.
  6. Hi Ok so simply put I have a 100% width Div with <img..> inside. The image width is 698px, though that shouldn't make any difference. This is what I've got. <div class="col-md-12" > <a class="logo" href="#"><img src="images/old_elm.png" alt="Special Occasion Cars. Chauffeur driven cars london." style="display: block; margin:0 auto;"></a> </div> What I need is that the <img...> sits in the center horizontally. Of course the code just defaults the image to the left. I know I'm going mad, I've done this before, I just can't get it to do what I what it to do. arrggg. Anyone reminder me hows this done done please?
  7. Yep I thought so, I was just wondering if there had been any new 'effective' players that developers were using. I'm a big fan of paid bloggers, but thats can be £250-£500 for one article on a 'good' PA/DA site, not cheap at all. For sure I'm happy to get say 50 quality (PA=30+) link rather than a 1000 nothings.
  8. Hello This is something I've looked at over the years, but never successfully found a good company, that is reliable and returns results. Does anyone know of, or use, or can recommend a link building provider that actually provides quality long term results? Looking forward to your responses Regards Ash --
  9. Hi Really annoying problem with our OpenCart 2.0 E commerce site, this should illustrate the issue; Product Name Model Unit Price Quantity Total Anti-Cellulite Shorts HRMT-CP £35.00 2 £70.01 Sub-Total £58.34 VAT (20%) £11.67 Total £70.01 What the hell? Is this a VAT issue do you think? The amount I've inputed Ex Tax: £29.17, but the problem is the same for all products. Please please help, I have searched the forum and Google but no exact matches.
  10. Hi Simply that, should I use and believe the analytic s tools that come with my C/Panel reseller hosting or through the Google Analytics account we have for this particular site? We have Awstats and Webalizer in our c/panel, which are pretty similar numbers, though not exactly the same (differences with Unique and visits I think), and then we have Google Analytics, which is great with the demographic elements and does allow you to pin point a date date range which the Awstats and Webalizer doesn't, but the number for the general stuff is just totally different. Awstats - 2457 pageviews this month so far Google - 489 Average session length etc etc are all different, like its a completely different site. Google says our bounce rate is 100%, which simply isn't the case, we have had many sales and even the people in the office look at various pages. Google does instill much confidence. Which should I use or is there a better free alternative that you can recommend? We really appreciate the help guys --
  11. I'd like to run the specs of a very simple app by the members please, simply put can this be done,'properly' and 'efficiently' just built as a responsive website? In short we need to be able to provide our sales people, with a clickable icon on their phone, opening as an app, allowing them to input a prospective customers name, email address, and choose a product they are interested in and click submit only. At this point: 1 email is sent to the prospective customer with details of the product, URL link and the unique coupon code each of our sales people has, for the customer to input at checkout for a discount. (Internally this number will then allow us to track whose sold what, but thats for us to deal with, from you point of view its literally just text to add) 1 email to the sales persons email account confirming the contact details taken 1 copy of the above email to us, so we can follow up if no purchase is made, and add them to our database. So super simple. collect the basic info and send 3 emails, done. We feel this should be a hydrid app rather than developed for each platform (Android, IOS and Windows), which should save a little money and time for development. But its been noted that I could build this as a responsive webpage, and that its possible to add a linked icon to this on phones? Any thoughts, would this work properly, as well as the hydrid app? Much appreciated
  12. No both just work as they are, never had an issue with www. or not before. I think the default, well the default is without www. for Opencart (the platform I'm using), but eitherway this doesn't answer the font awesome issue?
  13. Hi Been trying to work this out for ages. But its now clearly in 2 camps. mywebsite.com - font awesome icons show www.mywebsite.com - font awesome icons aren't showing The main head links reads <link href="catalog/view/javascript/font-awesome/css/font-awesome.min.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> is there a problem there? Anyone come across this one?
  14. Hi On our Opencart e commerce setup for some reason Font Awesome, which Opencart uses, shows fine on FF but fore some reason not on IE and it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't on Chrome, all very strange. Anyone got an idea what might be happening? I have had the same thing happen on a couple of WP websites also, and frankly I'm none the wiser. Please help, if you can
  15. So something like this for OpenCart? - http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension/info&extension_id=14180&filter_search=customer%20group
  16. thats sounds like it might work, no ad-ons etc, just a standard feature?
  17. its quick and convenient, hows that a bad thing?
  18. To clarify at first look Plesk doesn't allow me to just automatically install tons of apps in the same way the 'Softaculous' Apps Installer on c/panel does? I think this seems to be the main difference between the 2 dashboards, am I right?
  19. Hi We are looking into new hosting, however I am very used to c/panel which has the great ability to install tons of softwares automatically. The new host company my company has been looking at supports Windows and Plesk Control Panel, which from a demo only seems to allow you to instal Wordpress. Am I missing something or is c/panel just tons better? And is this a question of Linux and Windows? Would really appreciate the advice guys. Thanks Ash --
  20. Hi Basically we want to build a ecommerce type platform that will: 1. Allow basic shopping basket experience for general public visitors (very standard stuff); 2. create a account login area where wholesalers and independent shop owners can go and get a completely different pricing, and offer ddp and cnf to wherever they are in the world. I have used WP Woo commerce before would these meet my needs? Ash ---
  21. 22. all my file pages are php, so I pointed to the index.php home page.
  23. No all hand codes html and css, theres no WP install or files.
  24. Hi Someone has just told me that Google now wants Titles to be 40-50 characters rather than 60-70, and meta descriptions have changed to 115-120 length rather than 160 optimum, anyone know if this is correct? A
