Best way to impliment webcam picture submit feature
I wish to have a feature added to my site that will allow users with webcams to submit a picture. Ideally it would look like the above image, but as this is a complicated request i cannot see it being very probable. Any suggestions as to how i would go about accomplishing such a task would be much appreciated, also currently my site is using a manual process for this that involves the below guide. It works well, but i think a webcam feature would be much better. http://www.webmotionuk.co.uk/php-jquery-image-upload-and-crop-v11/ Thanks

invoicemachine.com cms or custom made?
I really like the look and feel of invoicemachine.com, and i was wondering if it was done through a skinned CMS such as Drupal or if you believe they build everything from the ground up.

alternative to HTML tables/click image and background darkens
that helps me quite a bit, thank you for the link 1. it is nice to see an alternative to the one prior mentioned, and in all honesty i do not know what one i preferr so i'll have to try em both to see what one looks better 2) weak, tables were so easy to work with but i can see why they are not used as often cause doing anything with them is a pain. Nonetheless it looks like i'll be spending quite a bit of time at HTML Dog in the next little bit, or buying a CSS/div book. 3) this DIV format sounds pretty sweet, i spent like 30 min trying to figure out a way to display that with tables and as far as i am concerned it cannot be done (at least cannot be done without using frames). as far as web design goes i haven't done much that is worth showing off, just basic dreamweaver sites along with some simple PHP script in the background. My only notable one is www.dimg.biz, and even then it sucks pretty hard

alternative to HTML tables/click image and background darkens
on chickipedia when i click a image the background darkens and the image loads and then is displayed. How do they do this? http://img185.imageshack.us/img185/8948/mysteryhy7.png on facebook the pages are layed out in a way that i do not believe HTML tables can handle (at least not the tables i have been making in dreamweaver). If the site is layed out using tables then i would appreciate a link to an advanced guide on making HTML tabes as none of the ones i have seen are able to. If not then a guide for how they do that would be much appreciated http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/2419/mystery2hg8.png I also do not know how facebook is able to display the bottom menu at all times

generate url based on form input
thats good advice, i just finished up with a really ugly working version of the form(http://dimg.biz/form.php), so it should only take a bit longer to put on the frontpage

generate url based on form input
i was looking at javascript and messing around with a few tutorials (like this one http://www.tizag.com/javascriptT/javascriptform.php?) and i can see how it would be possible to do. However like you said not everyone has javascript,hp so if their would be an equally easy way to do it in PHP then i'd be down since i have a reasonable understanding of that language *reads some php form tutorials* http://www.tizag.com/phpT/examples/formvar.php yea i think php is the way to go for this thing thanks for the help

generate url based on form input
I want to design a form on my site that allows the user to fill out some information and then useing that information it will generate a url. Currently i have a working version that i built in java, but its a terrible solution so i was hopeing you guys could suggest another approach. To view my current version visit my site --> dimg.biz One approach i was thinking of doing was a HTML form that uses the form information to create a custom re-direct section but it didnt work
