How do I achieve this effect?
Well I just looked at this and Yes, you are a legend sir......exactly what I was looking for...... To have the knowledge to do this for potential future projects is great, I love the mechanics involved and if paired with the right design, the end product would look fantastic. Thanks!

How do I achieve this effect?
Hi Everyone, I am having trouble figuring out how the menu effect is created on this lovely site (link below).... Basically when you scroll down you expect the menu to just disappear from view however it snaps to the top and never leaves when you scroll down.........I think its a brilliant effect and would love to try it out....... http://happycog.com/ Do you guys have any idea? I dare say its relatively straight forward however I am tired and been staring at a screen all day......so excuse my snap judgement there if I am massively wrong. Thank you.

Help with Wordpress - Simple theme.
Thanks for the reply's, much appreciated. I think what I was trying to say is that I want to use Wordpress as a CMS, not a blogging platform..... Basically, styling all the static site, with numerous pages and adding the content to wordpress as a theme and just having it so that the content on each of static pages can be changed when necessary.....

Help with Wordpress - Simple theme.
Hi All, Hope you might be able to help. I am looking to create a custom wordpress theme from scratch, but not really after the functionality of having comments, sidebars showing recent posts etc etc....... Is it basically just the case of not adding the functionality in the theme folder by leaving out some .php files? Basically I want it just so ( clients ) can add new content, across multiple pages ( already have the HTML / CSS templace created ). I am picking wordpress for this as I think its one of the best out there.......I mean maybe for my purpose Joomla would be better ( pardon my ignorance )?? Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated.

@font-face problems in Safari / Firefox
To me, on my laptop, the font differentiates between bold and normal weight between the two browsers.......... The font in question is the one used in the menu with the red background.

@font-face problems in Safari / Firefox
Thanks for the quick reply! I used an online resource......sorry I cannot remember which. I did not use font squirrel to convert, the font is initially from the site though. I have used a text shadow effect to make the text less bold in chrome but alas does not work in safari / firefox. Is it the case of making sure that I get all different styles of the font, from a normal weight to bold and then specify when writing the CSS (font-weight: normal / bold etc) Cheers.

@font-face problems in Safari / Firefox
Hello there everyone, I have just been having a bash at using @font-face for the first time, using the ever popular technique used by many...... Just a quick issue I thought people might have had experience with, in Safari and Firefox the font weight is bold however in Chrome and IE7+ it is how it should be.... Any feedback would be great. Link here Thanks!! Alex.

CSS Footer Problem
Hello Everyone! So I have just a quick footer problem, just started making a website tonight, however as you can see from the page (link below) I have applied a z-index property so the div with the white background underlaps the header, but i cannot for the life of me figure out how to make it work with the footer.....at the moment there is a gap of about 10px which is just plain annoying and splits the flow of the page...... I think it could be the code I have used with the footer to make it sticky........ Any help would be greatly appreciated, many many thanks! I have left the code just on the index page so easy viewing...... Thanks again and have a good weekend!!! LINK HERE

IE6 + 7 Menu Problem
Hey guys, If you go to this link www.raaw.co.uk/test in modern browsers, Safari, Opera, Chrome etc you can see a basic menu set-up and a simple transition property applied when you rollover the boxes. I made this last night and am hoping to work the CSS into a site I am making. I put this online just so you guys can see......so skip to the source to see the code..... Just that because I have set one position to Overflow:hidden it displays incorrectly in IE6 and 7, I was going to just create a seperate Style sheet for IE6 + 7 but it would be nice for all to see the transition just as in the finished site it will benefit the end user. Any help would be good, I have actually used the property position:relative to help with problems before but I dont think it does help in this situation...
