  2. It is worth noting that ID's are 99 times for specific than a class - meaning that you would need 99 classes against one ID to overwrite that ID's characteristics.

Any backbone experts that want to give me 10 minutes of there time? Please I am hitting my head against a brick wall.
  6. A good front-end developer does not need to be good with graphic design. I am a front-end developer and I cannot design for love nor money. My graphic design skills end at slicing up elements for my development. Generic Skills A Front End Dev Needs HTML CSS Javascript I have worked with front enders that do not know javascript - but that has always been in studios that have full JS developers.

  8. Hi Boyles, I will download this today and take a look, did you build it yourself, or did you outsource it? Is it a native objC build or is HTML5/JS phoneGap (or similar) build?
  9. So it has come to the point in my career where I want/need to add another skill to my CV. I can currently development, PHP web applications, HTML, CSS, javascript, and Backbone. I know want to develop iOS apps (iPhone/iPad no need for Mac). Where do people suggest I start? I taught myself all my skills on the job, but from I have a been told objectiveC have much bigger learning curve than say PHP or javascript. Are there any websites that you reccomend, books, video tutorials etc? Thanks, Udders

  13. So I would do another tax return in Jan 2013 and pay that tax 31 Jan 2013? For everything after 6th April 2011 - 6th Arpil 2012?
  14. Hello, I am full time employed but at the end of March 2011 I registered as a sole trader, I realise that a self assesment tax return is required by the end of January, but do I just pay tax on anything that I earnt between March 2011 and April 6th 2011, and then anything after that is paid next year? If someone could explain how it all works that would be great thank you!
  15. Yes, but I never got any papers through the post.
  16. Hello, I have a tax question, I work full time as a web developer, but in my free time I also freelance (since April/May 2011). In the period of time since April/May 2011 to now I have made around £4k from freelancing. What I want to know is how do I go about paying tax on this money? Do I need to do self assessment online? If so what kind of details do I need to provide? Also would I be liable to pay the tax in full, or can I pay it off monthly? Can anyone calculate how much tax I am looking at paying. Many Thanks
