I did try that, but it made no difference, below is the code & css for the affected area, maybe i have the right code, just in the wrong order /conflicting. <div id="tabs"> <div class="autoalign"> <ul> <li><a href="#"><img src="images/icons/house.png" alt="Portsmouth Branch" class="nohyperlink" title="Portsmouth Branch" /> Portsmouth Branch</a></li> <li><a href="#"><img src="images/icons/house.png" alt="Cosham Branch" class="nohyperlink" title="Cosham Branch" /> Cosham Branch</a></li> <li><a href="#"><img src="images/icons/house.png" alt="Waterlooville Branch" class="nohyperlink" title="Waterlooville Branch" /> Waterlooville Branch</a></li> </ul> </div> </div> #tabs { background: #fff url(../images/bigbox.gif) no-repeat top left; color: #000; height: 64px; text-align: center; margin: 0 0 0 5px; width:1090px; padding: 0 0 -40px 0; } .autoalign { margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; }

CSS Padding Issue
For the moment i have removed the search box, leaving just the three tabs. Somehow i need to center them, but without using "padding: 0 0 0 297px;" I did try using position:absolute but it just aligned them all to the left..

CSS Padding Issue
Hi All, I'm currently building a new website: http://www.miltonglassuk.co.uk/Milton Glass/ But i'm having a bit of trouble with my CSS: To get the tabs and search box in the middle of the tabs div i use the following padding: padding: 0 0 0 297px; But by applying this a white gap appears to the right the the image and breaks my site (as shown below) Here is the full HTML code for the tabs div: <div id="tabs"> <ul> <li><a href="#"><img src="images/icons/house.png" alt="Portsmouth Branch" class="nohyperlink" title="Portsmouth Branch" /> Portsmouth Branch</a></li> <li><a href="#"><img src="images/icons/house.png" alt="Cosham Branch" class="nohyperlink" title="Cosham Branch" /> Cosham Branch</a></li> <li><a href="#"><img src="images/icons/house.png" alt="Waterlooville Branch" class="nohyperlink" title="Waterlooville Branch" /> Waterlooville Branch</a></li> </ul> <div id="search"> <form method="post" action="?"> <p> <input type="text" name="search" class="search" /> <input type="submit" value="Search" class="button" /> </p> </form> </div> </div> And here is the full CSS for the tabs div: #tabs { background: #fff url(../images/bigbox.gif) no-repeat top left; color: #000; height: 64px; text-align: center; padding: 0 0 0 297px; margin: 0 0 0 5px; width:1090px; } Is there another way i can do this?

- HTML Hyperlink Within PHP Code
Hi All, I know this is a very simple issue to fix, but i struggle to mix HTML & PHP together. I have the following code which prints out the name of a county and next to it, the number of places to fish within that county echo"<tr><td>" .$myrow['fishery_county']. " (" . $myrow['COUNT(*)'].")</td>"; My question is: how do i wrap hyperlink around it... (i did try, but failed,as you can see below) echo"<tr><td>" <a href="fly-fishing-listings.html">.$myrow['fishery_county']. " (" . $myrow['COUNT(*)'].")</a></td>"; Many Thanks- CMS/Shop Script Advice?
Not sure if you would want a monthly cost. But i use ekmpowershop to run the front/back end of my shop. Very customable as well, maybe worth taking a look at it.- Greetings from Scotland

Anyone?- Rounded Corners Not Showing In IE
Hi All, I currently run a forum http://ukfishersonline.com/phpBB3/index.php which has a custom template that i made. My question is: In internet explorer when scrolling up and down my rounded corners sometimes disappear... This is what they should look like: This is what happens when scrolling over either up or down Is there a bit of code i can add to stop this happening? or maybe something to amend in my CSS. Many Thanks- Mutiple Sites With Adsense
Hi All, Altogether in "Google Analytics" I have eleven websites listed. Three of the eleven have "Google Adsense" I have told "Google Adsense" to show stats for the three sites in "Google Analytics" My question is: On two of the three websites, it says to "Paste this code at the top of any webpage in this domain that contains AdSense ads.” Site 1: <script type="text/javascript"> window.google_analytics_uacct = "UA-1875416-1"; </script> Site 2: <script type="text/javascript"> window.google_analytics_uacct = "UA-1875416-14"; </script> Do I need to do this and if so why? (Currently I have not inserted this code and both sites seem to be getting stats) Thanks- Converting Large 150+ Page Website To CMS
Thanks for all the comments everyone Think i am going to give modx ago.. see what its like.- Converting Large 150+ Page Website To CMS
Hi All, Over the last couple of years i have been built up quite a large website http://www.ukfishersonline.com, which is now starting to get a bit difficult to maintain. Recently i have converted some parts of the site to PHP/MYSQL to use includes to make it easier to update some parts of the website. My question is, is it possible to convert my whole website as it is including its design into CMS? a lot of the website is based around articles, so the abilty to add, edit, delete articles using a backend system would be great at the moment i think i have around 150+ pages Thanks in advance- Read & List Filenames
Thank you for all your answers, they work fine Saves me a lot of manual labour- Read & List Filenames
Hi All, I currently have a slideshow on my website My Website, which works fine. but in order for it to work i have to manually list all the filenames. for example: <div id="imageContainer"> <img src="images/slideshow/slideshow(1).jpg" alt="" /> <img src="images/slideshow/slideshow(2).jpg" alt="" /> <img src="images/slideshow/slideshow(3).jpg" alt="" /> <img src="images/slideshow/slideshow(4).jpg" alt="" /> </div> How can i get it just to look at my image folder and grab the filenames automatically? Thanks in advance- Echo data and half into two columns
Thanks, i thought i had to do something like that, i will have a play around and see how i get on.. i am really not good with PHP- Echo data and half into two columns
Hi All, I'm trying to find the amount of rows in my database, echo the data and then half it into two columns... Heres what i am working on at the moment: http://www.ukfishersonline.com/test.html (lists county and amount of fisherys within it.) i can echo the data ok and i can find the total amount of rows, just not sure how to go about halfing into two columns? <?php require_once('Connections/connection.php'); ?> <?php mysql_select_db($database_connection, $connection); $query = "SELECT `fishery_county`, COUNT(*) FROM fishery_tbl WHERE fishery_tbl.overseas='No' GROUP BY `fishery_county` ;"; $fishery_count = mysql_query($query, $connection) or die(mysql_error()); $row_fishery = mysql_fetch_assoc($fishery_count); $totalfishery_count = mysql_num_rows($fishery_count); $percol = $totalfishery_count/2; ?> <?php echo ("$percol"); ?> <table width="600" border="0" align="center"> <tr> <td><table border="1" align="center" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="2"> <?php do { ?> <tr> <td><?php echo $row_fishery['fishery_county']; ?></td> <td>(<?php echo $row_fishery['COUNT(*)']; ?>)</td> </tr> <?php } while ($row_fishery = mysql_fetch_assoc($fishery_count)); ?> </table> Many thanks - HTML Hyperlink Within PHP Code
