Mutiple Sites With Adsense

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Altogether in "Google Analytics" I have eleven websites listed. Three of the eleven have "Google Adsense"

I have told "Google Adsense" to show stats for the three sites in "Google Analytics"

My question is:

On two of the three websites, it says to "Paste this code at the top of any webpage in this domain that contains AdSense ads.”

Site 1:

<script type="text/javascript">
window.google_analytics_uacct = "UA-1875416-1";
</script>

Site 2:

<script type="text/javascript">
window.google_analytics_uacct = "UA-1875416-14";
</script>

Do I need to do this and if so why? (Currently I have not inserted this code and both sites seem to be getting stats)

Thanks

It tracks the adsense ads.

Its nothing drastic, it just tracks the click rate etc.
