  1. Hi again Well, I have now commenced my site redesign and believe I have incorporated many of your suggestions. So far my changes are largely limited to the homepage (I will get to the other pages later) so if you could check out the new homepage (http://www.daleecounsel.com.au/) and let me know what you think, that would be fantastic! Thanks again. Dale G
  2. A big thank you for the welcomes I have received as well as the valuable feedback! Expat629, Fizix Richard and Cats Corporation, I found your comments particularly helpful (and thorough Fizix Richard - thank you) I now plan to set about improving my site and will incorporate many/most of your suggestions. I will let you know once I have made the revisions and fingers crossed you will be able to take another look then! Thanks again - I appreciate your time as well as the expertise on this forum. Happy Sunday!
  3. I have to say I agree whole heartedly with Dizi. The positioning (i.e. on the homepage) of all your personal information & background IMO isn't the greatest. It comes across at best as unnecessary and at worst as unprofessional. The homepage should be all about your site visitors and how your site or business can help them. What will they get out of your site/product or service? If potential clients (or employers) are motivated to learn more about your personal background, this can be facilitated by the inclusion of your information on a page other than your homepage. Meanwhile, those who are not interested in this level of detail are not confronted by it as soon as they visit your site. Another aspect I find confusing or unhelpful is your domain name - its connection to your business is not evident (at least not to me), giving no idea of what it is you do. On the plus side, I love your choice of colours and graphics - very cool!!!! Good luck with your studies and site
  4. Hi Can you please check out my online counselling site http://www.onlinecounsellingsupport.com.au/ and give me your honest opinion? I am particular interested in views regarding functionality, content and overall appearance/impression. I have recently installed a flash object on the homepage which only appears in browsers using Internet Explorer. I am not sure why it doesn't work in Firefox or Safari. Any ideas? Thanks so much for your help and expertise! Cheers Dale
