  1. HI All Haven't posted in the forums for 5 years! Wow. I have a portfolio of around 100 current hosting clients. They all pay £72 p.a for hosting. Also make around 50% markup on domain renewals. I am having a total career change and am thinking about what to do with my clients. Would anyone be interested in taking the portfolio over? They are all currently hosted in a Heart Internet reseller account. Cheers bigpedro!

  5. All Hope somebody on here will be able to help with this. We have developed or rather are in the process of developing a section on an ecommerce website that reveals some additional product options. The options are related to personalisation of the product. If the customer wants the product personalised they click the button and the option cost is added to the product and the personalisation options such as font and font colour appear below via a shaded area that appears. This works ace on IE, Firefox, Google Chrome and even Safari. However on an ipad or iphone it is not playing. The button is not an image button it is created by CSS and Javascript. When you press the button on an ipad the device thinks that you are trying to "copy" the area and it becomes highlighted blue and the copy button appears Anybody have an ideas or advice? Your help would be mucho apreciated! Pedro!

Have redone part of the page with Margins and Floats. However still the page renders ever so slightly different in Firefox and IE. But different enough for the client to refuse it. Is it possible to get exactly the same results?

Thanks for your reply. Those left:xxpx 's are what I am using to position all of the modules in the exact positions required.

CSS Error in Safari and Firefox

Hi All Save me from insanity! Please? Have had to create a Joomla template from a design from a graphic designer. Every aspect has to be editable in the CMS and yet still positioned perfectly on the layout. Anyway. I have been using CSS relative positioning for module positions which works great in IE - however in Safri and Firefox the positions are slightly out. Also if you look in Firefox you can scroll the browser right into empty space that isn't there in IE. If I remove my relative positioning items then this resolves. Any Ideas? Am I allowed to post URL's Thanks IN Advance Pedro

    Legal Question About Domain Names

Morning The client owns the domain and I have just changed the admin contact to him too leaving me as the technical. Spoken to the client this morning and it seems he has had contact a few weeks ago from the company asking to buy the domain from him. They offered £200. My client informed them that his signwrighting on the van and business cards cost more than that! The company in question do trade as the exact domain name my client owns and they own (and have a site on the .co.uk)
