  1. Hi I am having problems with indesign I just started using it and have create a master page. The master page works on the first two pages but when I add the third page and export it to pdf all the graphic (shapes) on page 2 disappear. if I add another two pages the graphics on page 4 disappear and so on. I'm not sure if I did something wrong or its a bug? any help?
  2. I was just think of having a registration where the user must enter a valid telephone number and UK based address. Then you can check them out also a uk website and check the whois if necessary.
  3. I don't care what I'm called aslong as I make lots of money
  4. Great, I feel the same I will use some of the points you raised as they are very valid. Thank you.
  5. why do people get angry when people advertise for older people. If they are looking for someone who is 22 or older then there not going to pick a 16 year old anyway so why make them change it. I would rather know what they want so I don't waste my time applying
  6. I am setting up a website. I only will allow people that live in the UK to join can I do this or is it discrimination? I can't see anyone getting offended but don't want to break any laws. Any help?
  7. little bit easy to cheat you need to limit the add friends to twenty a day or something to make it harder to gain points and a captcha to the invite friends to stop bot mass loading emails etc. hope this helps
  8. Only had a quick glance more focused on the design plus i didn't want to be too negative
  9. The rainbow just needs to be the background centered and no repeat and fixed in css then just have those pngs it's well easy but really effective I was just thinking of other ways to use the technique. Any thoughts?
  10. thanks I will consider your advise
  11. Hi, I don't like the purple it is too dark and over contrasts with the white. The thick black border is almost clumsy and isn't smooth/crisp. You need to down scale the whole site make the black border 1 or 2 pixels thick and the logo smaller I don't think you have enough content to have such a large site. It is a common thing designers do when starting out making all the graphics huge not sure why but I did it to. I would use a lighter purple and make the bubbles static maybe have more than just a gradient background or add the bubbles to the white background and drop their opacity. The curved graphics are a little jagged I would re-export them to make them more smooth. I'm not keen on the spaced out lettering it is hard to read and seems like a failed attempt at making the site look bigger. On the up side the coding is nice well done! Hope this helps sorry for any spelling errors
  12. Just wanted some feedback on my new site. I know it should be done in CSS with DIV's so please spare me the lecture Really only looking for design and content feedback. CLICK FOR SITE thanks

  17. Lots of positive comments but not many members. Please join as I can't have discussions on my own
  18. I have took caraewilton and others advise and reduced the number of categories. Thanks it looks much better now.
  19. lol peter Thanks for the comments caraewilton. I probably will reduce the number of categories for the moment until they are needed as people seem scared to start posting on a blank categories lol. Cheers, Chris (a bit of news a not-so-young entrepreneur joined today and is willing to help out the younger generation which is very kind and helpful of him. I encourage more to join as we youngens need your help!)
  20. Thank you for the positivity Peter feel free to join
  21. hehehe like the idea. I'm glad people are coming round to the concept. Yes indeed forums are hard to start but they all have to start somewhere. I will be working on content over the next few weeks adding articles and interviews with successful young entrepreneurs. But in the mean time I just need people to join and get posting. I am willing to join in on any discussion with new members. Cheers, Chris
  22. Wait I think people are getting confused here. Someone asked me "What age constitutes as young?" obviously I made a mistake by answering that question as everyone has a different opinion on it. Anyone can join the forum there is no age limit it is intended to help young people in business. But as everyone starts in business at different times in life it's impossible to set an age limit. The forum can help all ages and needs more experienced people to join to help the less experienced.
  23. Thanks for the comments char and thanks for joining the forum.
  24. Upto 30 I guess but I also want older users to help the younger users in the community.
  25. Hey everyone, I thought the UK needed a young entrepreneurs forum as I know there are so many young entrepreneurs in the UK which need help and advice so I set up this forum let me know what you think about the idea and design. It's only budget at the moment but if it proves popular more work will be done. http://www.youngentrepreneursuk.com
