  1. Hee hee well, I'm redoing my server which is where my pictures are right now, so the hard drive with them is sitting next to the Vaio along with the scanner and all my software. Ugh. why do I need so many computers!
  2. In the long run, you would be better served by original unique real content rather than a stripped piece. More writers are using copyscape to crack down on abuses against their copyright, and the DMCA means they can get your site google blacklisted for being naughty. I'd be careful if I were you.
  3. Photoshop, though I've not mastered the entire program. I guess it's safe to say I've gotten so used to it, I feel uncomfortable with anything else.
  4. Can some guru please help me understand the clone feature or point me to a page where I can learn more about how to use it. I have never mastered Clone!
  5. What is your favorite drawing program for creating unique images? Anyone use POV or similar programs? Do you have a favorite illustrator program?
  6. I love taking pictures - absolutely love to. I was thinking about starting a blog talking about different shots I've taken, but I really need to find a site that doesn't restrict the size too much. Any ideas? Anyone try SXC.hu? I was wanting to try that site to submit, but I can't handle people's nasty comments.
  7. I have an Olympus SP-350 and I absolutely love it. It's an 8 mp and the camera is very easy to use with plenty of special features and a really decent RAW setting. It's the best camera I've ever owned and I take it everywhere.
  8. Ugh, I had a post just zip right off into the vacuum. I had tried to say this before the post kind of messed up: I say that you need to figure out a happy balance. HTML is really nice because it's simplistic, easy to read, and easy to navigate. Flash adds glitz and glam, kind of like those little crystals everybody has been adding to their cell phones. But just like the crystals, you have to find balance with flash if it will be used. Adding too much fancy will result in a similar outcome to overdoing it with your beadazzler: cheap. No matter how much time you spend on a flash fat site, if it's done too heavy, the result can be kind of like looking at the neighbor with all the lawn ornaments; lots of stuff to look at but highly distracting. Flash with class, or HTML all the way. Might I suggest you start out HTML and add the flash in slowly? Give it time to see the affects the flash aspects cause in your traffic.
  9. Probably 'cause they're so blah perhaps? I like to think my mind made a mental block because being at the site was so traumatic. j/k must...look...away...too...horrific..........mentally scarring! The horror!
  10. I like to work on websites that interest me for personal things, but if I'm doing a site for a client, I try to ask bunches of questions and see myself as a visitor.
