  2. I agree with alot of your comments, i just went plainly on what the lady i was designing for wanted. I aint very good yet but im working on it
  3. thats fair cop dude,
  4. I'm trying to say like if you were to pay to have a website of this quality how much would you pay? if that helps
  5. Probably seen a posts about this with a lady not paying. How much do you guys think the site is worth as a design, i.e how much would you pay to have that design made? thanks in advance guys
  6. checkout ministepreview.webege.com im not experienced so couldn't really afford to charge more i think my server is having a bit of spazz doesnt load some of the pages but thats not the site
  7. Yeah i'd go for dual screens and a good tablet instead of upgrading your laptop, maby you could add an extra 1gb of ram cause there a probably a 1gb bar and a 2gb bar in your laptop so just replace the 1gb with a 2gb Adobe products are not very harsh on your computer its one of the things that make them great. your spec will handle it easy hope this helps
  8. I use hostgator, and theyre customer support was pretty ace, although occasionally a little slow hope this helps
  9. Hey People, around 2 months ago I began work on a small "mini-site" that i believed would be very easy we agreed a cost of £25 then extra cost for logo's graphics etc. in the end we decided a final fee of £50 which seemed relatively fair as it would not consider that much work. As the project went on she continued to change the boundaries and more work etc. i have finished the project to quite a high standard yet she is unwilling to pay, and would like more changes made. I'm not willing to do the extra work as its not worth the money. What shall i do as anyone else had this problem with the company? There part of the "country garden supplied group" the person i dealt with was Collette Griffiths. Do Not Work For This Company They Will Not Pay
  10. yeah that helped alot thanks i think amove to the city might be in order Its where all the best business is
  11. Nice banner might i add, also the website is too wide, im using a 1200 wide res and it doesnt fit on; using flexiwidth tables in the css that go on a percentage this will make it fit on any screen. also the layout is a bit messy. Ialso think that you should use an odd number of columns either one or three this will be more effective has a design. also the font is slightly on the large size. Also it'd be better if yu used an external css file, it just makes things a little cleaner although doesnt really affect visuals :)using tables is a bit past it aswell to be honest. i'd base it all round css. have a look at the source code for a website you like the look of. good luck
  12. Hi people I'm considering studying web design or something along them lines at uni, but I'm not really aware of what uni's are best and what the entrance requirements are. Is it worth it? I know the average salary is arround £30 000 for a web designer but is it possible to earn more than that? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in Advance.
