Hello everyone! I'm know on this site and I really hope you'll can help. I started a new site recently and I uploaded all the files to a temporary URL http://www.riggerz.org just while I waited for a more suitable domain. Anyway, once I received the new URL http://www.beautyboxworcester.co.uk I then started loading keywords & description tags. Only problem I have now is, google directs my search words to my temorary URL. I tried to load a .htacces file into my route folder so that I could use a 301 re-direct protocol, but this didn't work. The server which hosts my new URL definatley runs LINUX. Heres the .htacces file I used: Options +FollowSymlinks RewriteEngine on rewritecond %{http_host} ^beautyboxworcester.co.uk [nc] rewriterule ^(.*)$ http://www.beautyboxworcester.co.uk/$1 [r=301,nc] Can someone help.. Hi all fellow members! Well, I'm working in the motor trade at the moment and at 37yrs of age, I'm thinking it may be a little too late to get into the Web design industry. So, for now I shall just treat it as a hobby.
