  1. hi, any reviews or suggestions on my site are welcomed...i spend 7 months coding this project! http://www.bidlanceinternational.com
  2. well...i kno a php programmer that is far more advanced than i could ever expect to learn in any college/uni.... then i also know someone who puts himself out as a "professional" designer who hasnt got a clue what to do if he hasnt got dreamweaver in front of him! but classes himself as "self taught professional designer"....joke i call him!! i have a degree in web design and passed it with a destinction! but also a lot of what i learnt since passing is self taught! more basically "keeping up with the times" as to put it...and this is what i class as ok...if ppl actually do learn the trade they wish to pass themselves off in then its fine....but idiots who lie to themselves because a peice of software does all the work is what really pisses me off....and is obviously the reason for the decline in prices in out trade!!
  3. that frnz site hurt my eyes..... if someone made a site like that for me id expect them to pay me $50 per page
  4. personally i think the problem is with uk being so cheap in web design is because any old idiot with a pc seems to think they are a photoshop/dreamweaver expert!! i see a lot of ppl here are "self taught" ...which is fine to some extent, but then u get ppl who still dont have a clue how to make a div or table without the use of dreamweaver, but somehow seem to think they are professional web designers!! u cant put a price on quality!!
  5. its improbable its gonna happen tho!!! bus routes are cleverly figured out so that theres no brick walls to hit!!
  6. cuz a bus weighs 14 ton and wouldnt even shake if it hit a car!!
  7. ty ayoungh its took me 6 months to develop to the level i want it!! i still want to redesign the look of the site but that will be next year now...main thing is getting it tested finally and then open to the public!!
  8. i guess none of u have ever asked for help huh!!
  9. it is completely free to join.... but membership gives other benefits!! like on any other freelance site!! its free to join..free to post projects...the minimum fee for providers to accept a project is just $1 unlike most sites that force $5 minimum!! and many other benefits!!
  10. i dont think i have alienated anyone....i think its more a case of showing who actually has a desire to be helpfull!! as the site is a freelance jobsite i think it would benefit ppl here to just take a few hours to test the site and be rewarded free membership that you might of taken out anyway!! i could get anyone to test it for free...but i thought it would be nice to actually get ppl who are familiar with these sites to get a benefit from it!! like i said...i will give out free membership to anyone who helps me fully thanks
  11. if you test the site solidly or find any major faults then i will be prepaired to offer membership to my site with a value of upto $30 a month!! i am not prepared to pay a wage to test..i could goto a professional testing company for that! thanks
  12. hi guys i am about to open a freelance website for designers of all types... the website has been 6 months in development and im now satisfied that its completed...i just need capable testers to help me out!! i kno theres a place here to review ppls websites, but not a place to ask for testers...if anyone would like to help me out them please message me..or if its ok to post the link here then let me know and i will do so!! final testing will last for 2 weeks and if any major faults are found im sure a few rewards could be dished out!! so...if anyone wants to help..please message me!! thanks
