    I think SEO people work on better sites. Because only serious and professional parties assign them projects for their sites. Most of the time it has been observed that such sites have high page ranks and such sites are really have a better position to improve the your site or directory prominence. So I think it is not spamming attempts. If not what is the purpose of your directory.
