  1. Thanks for all the welcomes! And thanks Vivoo about your compliment on the Little Veg Patch. Thats my husbands baby, alongside earthwormlandscapes. We launched at River Cottage (you know, with Hugh Fearnly-Whittingstall) but it has yet to really take off. Maybe next year is the year...
  2. Hi Nic, I've just joined too! Welcome Kyleigh
  3. Hi Darren (and all who read this, hello!) I've added Lightbox2 and it's ace, so thanks for that! http://kyleigh.co.uk/wble/ It's working fine in Safari, and (sort of) ok on Firefox (both on a mac) however, in Firefox and probably because of the anchors I use for the scrolly functionality when you click 'close' on lightbox, it zimms back up to the home panel. And if you click 'next' on a group of images, the page scrolls down ever so slightly that you have to scroll back up a bit to see the image! Do you or anyone know if I could rectify this? Thanks in advance Kyleigh
  4. Thank you! That alternative one looks good, I think I'll try that.
  5. Hi all, Really hoping for a bit of guidance here... I've got Lightbox working ok in the 'exhibitions' DIV on this (1 page scrolly) site, but in 'Event' it's not working and I don't know why!! www.kyleigh.co.uk/wble/build Can anyone help me pleasy weasy? Thanks in advance, I know I probably being a right duur brain...
  6. Hi all, I'm a web designer working in Bournemouth. For the past 15 or so years (man, I'm getting old) I've worked at an agency in Bournemouth working on traditional print for brochures, magazines, billboards, ads etc and since about 1998 I've been designing (and building) websites. In January I was told my hours were being cut because of this crazy credit crunch so, instead of crying into my shreddies, I started freelancing for 2 days a week, whilst having the dependable - if a little smaller! - salary of the 3 days at the agency. Well, they kept asking me to go back full time... over and over again. But I love my new found freelance freedom so much I've now signed a part time permanent contract. As soon as I have a bit of a nest egg behind me I'm diving head-long into full time freelance. Why don't I do it now, you ask? Well, with a mortgage, a husband with a fledgling garden design business and 2 nearly-teenage kids, I thnk this is the safer option! My best accolade so far was getting a 'Website of the Week' in New Media Age for my condorferries.co.uk site (I designed it but worked alongside developers who built it as it is full on CMS). In my freelance capacity I've recently done www.andreasoler.com, earthwormlandscapes.co.uk as well as thelittlevegpatch.co.uk Sorry if I've been a-waffling... look forward to meeting you all in this lovely geeky goodness Kyleigh
