  1. Ah yes I know where that is, just down the road!
  2. Thanks..adjusted those and its fixed the problem. I think I did change the code slightly in between postings but lost track of where I was upto. Anyway seems to display fine now in all browsers that I've tested. Thanks!!
  3. Thanks. I've moved the template page into the CMS now so the doctype is now correctly at the top. The main table is now correctly centred with your suggested css change but the logo top right is now static on the page and doesn't flow with the page correctly. Any further suggestions? I mistakenly said IE7, however I am having the problem with IE8. The new link to the page is http://www.cityairportltd.com/index.php?page=visitcityairport2011 Thanks
  4. Hi, I'm currently working on a single site webpage which can be seen here: http://www.cityairportltd.com/visitcityairport.html In Chrome, Firefox, safari the website displays fine, but in IE7, the background image which should stay central is mis-aligned with the central table (held in a div). I've never fully got to grips with div positioning with css, so any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks
  5. Excellent thanks...I've incorporated the Auto Detect :-) Nick www.viecreative.co.uk
  6. Hi everyone, recently joined and I've been browsing around quite a bit. Very helpful community here. A bit about me...I've been designing ad-hoc sites on and off for over ten years and have recently committed myself to serious part time web design working around my full time job. See me website www.viecreative.co.uk In the past I've relied mostly on word of mouth which in general seems to be the best method. Fingers crossed I can now get a few new websites to get me re-started once again :-) Nick
  7. Thanks, yes it was a temporary link which ended up staying there. Just need to find the appropriate code to do the detect and redirect automatically... Nick
  8. I manage this website which has steadily grown over time. The underlying html is a bit bloated and has lots of defunct links etc within. The overall function of the site works well, and gains a lot of good feedback, however I want to further refresh the site design for a more clean and fresh look, remaining user friendly whilst managing the content easily. Can anyone recommend a good (and simple to set up) CMS that might work well with this kind of site? General comments, suggestions, criticisms of the site welcome :-) and here's the site.. www.cityairportltd.com Cheers Nick www.viecreative.co.uk
