Hi Guys. I am trying to get some ideas as to which is the most popular way of creating E-commerce sites these days and the problems/benefits of each one. 1. What language do you use? 2. Is it easy to maintain? 3. Open source/Pay through the nose? 4. Are your sites 100% secure? 5. Would you recommend it to a friend? 6. Difficulty rating A)Beginner, for someone with little programming knowledge B)Intermediate, someone who has dabbled with a few languages including asp but as yet hasn't mastered it C) Expert, Strong programming knowledge Thanks for your replies in advance!

Love the logo and the general idea and layout. The "order now" button however (i know you're trying to attract attention) is red, the warning colour, probably best to go with a colour which will be less intrusive. Maybe try and pull the saturation down on the background as currently it screams at me when the page loads, you want them to look at the main content. Your service looks very interesting btw.

I like the idea you are going with on the header banner, the only thing that doesn't work that for me is the spacing, maybe try and exclude welcome from this section or try moving it about a bit. It just seems that the "welcome" is out of place. Love the colour scheme of the blue and bold white lines but this doesn't work so well with the pale main content for me, maybe try a few different colour schemes in this main section and have a subtle texture in the background rather than the stripes?

Personally, I think that if you go with the layout structure of design 2 and the colour scheme of number 1 as the green makes it look a bit cheap but the structure in design 2 is better, it makes it seem more "secure" and genuine. I would definitely look at getting a logo redesign as this really sets the tone for the rest of the site. Have you made this in .asp?
