Do you have a link to a tutorial that would be useful in showing me how to achieve the right results with the layout?

Hi all, I haven't developed a website in Wordpress before, but i am looking to make the layout below into a Wordpress site. How easy would it be to achieve this?

I am wanting to get an image slider for my website, something like the one on the following website; http://labrecs.com/. How would i go about doing this?

I dont know how to make a custom theme for Wordpress so that is probably out of the question. Thanks anyway.

I have just been asked to make a website for a local photogapher. The one bit that i need help on is that he needs to be able to upload photos to the website easily, to open in a lightbox and have a watermark put onto them. How can i do this?

Thanks for that. I have just read it and it is very informative.

Ideally, if i go freelance it would be in Web Design. Thank you for the examples.

Sorry if it sounds like im being stupid, but contracts such as what?

I know this thread has probably been done hundreds of times before, so hopefully people wont mind me adding another one. Im looking at going freelance, but dont really know where to start with doing so. What would people suggest that i read to help with my decision? Are you freelance? Would you reccommend it? What have been your best/worse experiences?

I just tried it and it exactly what i needed, thank you so much.

Hi. Im looking for a simple subscribe button that i can use so people can join a mailing list on my site. All i need is the input box and then a subscribe button, where i would then get an email with what the person put. I have looked on google but most of what i find isnt really what i am looking for, could anyone help?

Hi all, Recently nearly every webpage which i go on will display a banner ad at the top of the page, sites such as facebook and even my own which doesnt have adverts. Does anyone know why this is happening and how i can go about stopping it? Thanks in advance.

Your site is nice looking, easy to navigate and takes a way a few hours of your life when your on it (well mine anyway ).

Id probably think about getting some quality content and regular visitors to the site once its done before thinking about making money off of it first.

Hello. I used to run a local Music blog a while back, but i am now starting it up once more, but this time i want it to run on Wordpress. I have no experience of Wordpress, so i was wondering if it was possible to create a Magazine style theme. I have a unfinished layout in HTML/CSS at http://www.zarawebdesign.freeiz.com to show how i would like the Wordpress site to be. Could anyone point me in the right direction for tutorials? Thank you in advance.
