  1. It's really nice that, the site runs on WP engine, yet you have changed the look to a general site. I mean you have nicely modified the widgets like categories, blogrolls etc.
  2. Submitting it to popular social bookmarking sites like digg, technorati will make it indexed faster.
  3. As you are creating old furnituer store a grunge styled template will be more suited i think. Get some grunge texture in the background and gruge brushes here and there would spice this up. Also add some old furniture images.
  4. It's nice effort given that u are only learning web design. My suggestion would be get rid of the thick borders around the menu and boxes. use some gradient colored photoshop design in the menubar.
  5. Don't know if it's just me, but your site looks quite different in firefox and IE7, especially the header part. In firefox it looks nice but in IE7 it's different and not so good.
  6. Nice simple site. The width of your content section is too narrow I think.
  7. Hi , I like the the pink one better, as it has better contrast than the gray backgrond. Only thing I don't like in the pink one is the menu. It's too huge and not very crisp.
  8. Dizi is correct most of the "free" brushes are not for commercial use or requires some credit links if used commercially.
  9. Nice site. You should put the license information along with the psd's.
  10. go to http://css-tricks.com/video-screencasts/ . there are many nice video tutorials on sliceing psd.
