What Do you think of my Music Site

Featured Replies

I'm surprised to be honest, it's a really nice looking website, a great background, good use of transparency, subtle, inobtrusive advertisements and good content. One thing I would change is the navigation, using Firefox on Vista it's a little jumpy and off, also the background at the bottom of the site looks really out of place, make it blend a little more with the rest of the theme, perhaps make it black all the way down from the lights.

Hi,

Some really nice touches. I agree with everything Traxtor has said. The great top background doesn't work with the black, grey fade though. If that is a stock image at the top, copy it, flip it and sticking it to produce a double height background.

There are a number of line up issues that you could address to make it even tidier:

New releases needs pushing across right so that it has the same space from the nav border as home does at the opposite end. It should also fit nicely between the imaginary vertical line of the side of the google ads box below (hope that's clear).

The text in the content header is too close to the edge of the box.

Can you change the colour of the google ads box to match up better with the rest of the site? Like wise the "Imran Khan..." grey box??

Although i love my space, I tink there's too much in the main content box. Three equal sized pics would look much better, or move the pic to the left and the text to the right of it perhaps??

"Latest songs" header should line up with "Imran Khan...." text.

Hope that helps

Definitely an interesting combination of square and rounded edges on the containers. I also like the use of padding/margins to separate areas. The background image was catchy and unique and I think that's there to stay. I can't say I liked the main menu text/hover area - try font-size:12px; for it. Also, I would try doing a solid background color, shade of gray on the wrapper div.

i have new music site http://www.musicbol.com/ i am looking for feedback of experts . what do you think abut my site and how can i improve my site ..

Thanks in advance ..

ok,

really nice work. Actually I like the design. Sites I saw in this forum are not generaly so good. For this reason I tried to be very strict searching for "think to correct". I hope you don't feel bad about my coments (because the whole site is very good):

try to have you menu not bold or smaller font.

try to take out the background image that appears when I scroll down the page.

try to make some of equilibration: if you inser a round corner in the top left, then do the same in the bottom right of each block

try to have a little (really little) colorfull green: the "latest song" section is hard to read. You may also try a darker gray for the text;

this is important: add padding in the left of your titles.

you may want the picture in the right side of the block in your articles;

your email popup page have no style at all.

you may need to check js errors.

finaly: good job.

you may whant to submit your site here: http://allbestsites.net

Don't know if it's just me, but your site looks quite different in firefox and IE7, especially the header part. In firefox it looks nice but in IE7 it's different and not so good.
