Hi everyone, I hope you are all well. I just wanted some advice. I went to visit a local primary school recently about building them a new website. They are after a complete re-design, implementation of school logo and a jpg. file of a picture drawn by one of the children, 10 website pages and a cms system to control and update text, images and pdf. file downloads. I submitted a quote for £1250 for the job after careful consideration and speaking to a few friends in the business. I have yet to hear anything back from them and although these things take time, excluding half term it was about a week and a half ago. Do you think this figure was too much? Or is it reasonable? I know another similar job was done for nearly £2000 in the area so I thought my price was very competitive. Be good to hear your thoughts. Thank you everyone.

Hey everyone, I am not sure if this is the best place to post but I hope you can help me. I have a domain, http://www.wheyproteinking.com and I am looking to sell it, with the option of having all the content too. It generates around $350 (it is US targeted) per month, via affiliate schemes and advertising. It is optimised and appears on page one in the UK and top of page 2 in the US for the main search which is "whey protein." It is also top for another competitive search, "whey protein reviews." In terms of stats, it is nearly 2 years old and averages between 8000 to 10000 unique page views each month. I would like some advice on firstly what a good price would be and also where/how the best place/way is to sell it? I know of domains like Sedo but as I guess it would appeal to the US market more, are there any services anyone knows of there to use? Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated as always. Hi everyone, I was wondering if you could help. My newportfolio site is having some display issues in older versions of IE. It only appears to be one page, the portfolio page that is the problem. On this page, the logo and navigation menu appears to shift over to the right hand side. On all other pages it appears normal. The only difference on this page to any others is the addition of some javascript in the head tag to control the picture gallery below. If it were a css problem, I would have expected every page to appear the same, but it is just this one. This makes me think it is the javascript causing the issue but I don't know how it could be or how to alter it if it is. Does anyone have any suggestions? By the way I may be completely wrong with my javascript theory, it is just the only difference I can think of. My other slightly smaller problem is that in IE, the links appear the default blue/pink colour when in fact (as they are in FireFox) should be all greys and blacks. Anyone know why this may be? Hi guys, I wonder if someone could help. I had a form with a submit button but since then re-designed the list with some jquery and now I need the form to change on the drop down selection, rather than having to put a submit button in. Unfortunately, I dont really know how to! Hey guys, Thank you so much for your feedback. It certainly seems that since I switched to divs and css styling that sites are looking cleaner and for you guys to say so too really means a lot. Jake 151 thank your for your styling tip but I actually meant the nav bar across the top, the horizontal one. The dd styling is for the jquery slider at the side. The light blue I am having is when you hover over say whey protein reviews at the top for example. That light shade of blue used to be the colour of the drop down before I changed it to the gold colour. I just cannot see on the css where to change that last piece! Thank you again though

Hi guys, I am going back and trying to design my main site with divs and css. The original is here(with missing links I have just realised) and this is the new home page so far. Your feedback of any points is appreciated. The buy now buttons are colour coded to the affiliate sites they represent ( I will explain this on the site to.) I also wonder if anyone knows which part of the css will change the colour of the hover function on the nav bar? It is coming up bright blue and I can't see where to alter it. Any feedback and comments, good or bad are appreciated and any good/bad things in comparison to the old site is also welcomed. Thank you everyone.
