I'm working with a CIC that is wanting to offer services to support freelance traders in a specific industry.

 

They want to do be able to use Government Gateway check identity and also they are registered as self employed and potentially link to DBS for applications. 

I believe the Government Gateway allows some integration and wondering if anyone has experience working with this?

Not sure you can do this. There are organisations authorised to do the basic DBS checks for you, they charge £18 per check. 

Identity checks are done by comparing their passport with the real person. There is technology to help with this but it’s not cheap.
