March 24, 20224 yr I wonder if anyone on here can help me, I recently booted up my copy of DW8 as I want to build a site for some friends but the Property Inspector (the thing on the bottom of the screen for text sizes, etc) acts like it's full of iFrames, it's set as three parts with scrollbars and not easy to read (I've attached a screengrab). Any ideas on how to get it back to it's normal easy-to-use state please?
March 24, 20224 yr Can’t help you with your Dreamweaver problem but… Why are you still using dreamweaver to build websites? Things have moved on and it’s an old inefficient way to do things. Using a CMS will make your life so much easier.

You can focus on the design and content. And with the right theme give the client something stunning with contact forms, galleries, commenting, social media updating and so much more. All for free. Doesn’t cost you a penny.

I do use Wordpress, I have several sites using Wordpress but for this project I wanted to use Dreamweaver and use HTML. With all due respect, I only wanted to know why the properties box was f**ked, not for tips, tricks and hardsell for wordpress. Edited March 24, 20224 yr by Hellwyck
March 24, 20224 yr Apologies, wasn’t trying to sell you on Wordpress. I tend to use visual studio to hardcode sites as it keeps the code tidy. Stopped using DW about 20 years ago. Without teaching you to suck eggs, have you tried the Adobe forums as that’s where the DW experts tend to hang out. I think there is a DW section on stackoverflow as well.
