Trying to learn. 

I am planning/hoping to design a website for my partners online shop. We are currently in the UK. Within a year we will be in Australia. Will I have to "transfer" the website to an Australian hosting service or will something like Bluehost do the job for both environments? I was hoping to have a Domain name xxxxxxx.com.

I hope that all makes sense

Use a local host wherever possible. Doesn’t matter where you are, the site needs to be where your customers are.

Don’t choose a host based on price. Pay more for better support and a the most suitable package. A large online store my for example need a dedicated server.
