SEO - Title and permalinks for blog posts

Hi everyone. So I have a question relating to permalinks for blog articles.

Would you say it is ok to shorten the permalink if the url is quite long. For example a blog post with a title “Create A Wordpress Website - Here Are 11 Reasons Why” the permalink would just contain the keyword - “create-a-wordpress-website”. 

I would like to know if this would have any impact on SEO, is it ok to shorten the permalink or leave it as the full title?
